Did you stomp your feet while you wrote this.....Let me get your crying towl!!!

I have been in both camps and I can make a better assessment of who is better for our future in Aviation, If there is one left.
I can solidly tell you that the TWU is the leading concesionary and self serving union. The proof speaks for itself, the TWU has failed for the last time and the Teamsters ploy is an expected curve ball by the TWU. AMFA will take over American Airlines and then being the biggest and wealthiest union will take over the industry and make us one voice like they have always said has to happen to bargain from a position of strength. The current unions in the industry have failed to do it why not let AMFAaccomplish what they set out to do. Based on past concessionary agreements we dont have much to lose. AMFA has a direction lets go with that.
Chuck you're funny. Your just stomping your feet like a little kid because you and Bob are no longer relevant since the contract was passed. You and Bob were hoping that the contract was abrogated so overhaul would be sent outside just like what happened at NWA, UAL, and AS who were all represented by big bad AMFA. AMFA was the largest M&R union when the represented all 20,000 in their failed experiment of flexing the craft union power but what happened? They got their asses handed to them. Now you want us to join the only union that has successfully destroyed more union jobs in the airline industry than ANY union. You stated earlier that the TWU gave away 5,000 AA M&R jobs? Really? How's that? The AA fleet has shrunk since 2001. Was AA supposed to keep all those M&R members on the job with a shrinking fleet? No jobs were lost at AA - up until the new CBA - due to outsourcing.

Did AMFA enforced scope clause language at AS when management closed down the OAK base and outsourced all overhaul? No. Did AMFA enforce the 20% outsourcing cap language at UA? No and now over 45% is outsourced at UA. Chuck tell the truth, you want AMFA because they have a great track record when it comes to the line but overhaul? Screw them right Chuck because as long as its not YOUR job, you are good with that. And that's what AMFA does and you love it. Because it puts bucks in your pocket. Keep telling your stories of mass wealth for all in the break rooms at JFK to all those line AMTs while you get them to sign cards. The truth is that if they sign an AMFA card anyone with less than 1990 seniority can look forward to the United, Alaska, and Northwest AMFA style screwing. But hey, maybe Louie Key wants to get us and our dues so he can get an OV Delle-Femine type send off just before he screws overhaul. You know the one Chuck, that $500K lump sum Delle got right after AMFA dropped from 20,000 to around 3,000 members after all the airframe overhaul at United and Alaska was outsourced and they advised NWA M&R to walk out and they all got replaced.

You can pick em Chuck.

Overspeed you are truly amazing!!. This thread has nothing to do with Chuck or if he came out of the closet or not. Why not stand up and be a man and help Mr. Martin out since your such a TWU supporter and expert and you are in Tulsa. I don't know if your an Officer or Shop Steward or whatever, it shouldn't matter. Do something about it!!!

Kinda funny, I never see any of you TWU supporters out in the general population running your mouths the way you do on this board. The term "Blanket Party" comes to mind.

To find out how they got the positions they are now holding find out who signed the experience requirements that they needed to get the JOB.

Just follow the paper trail, then you know who made the deal......

Sounds logical to me. How would we go about finding this information?

That's a movie with Annette Funicello and Frankie Avalon?

Start with your section chairperson for the local, when you get no answer move up the food chain, each time you move up let every one you know what happened and that you got no help at that particular level sooner or later there will be someone who wants to shut you up and have you stop asking questions.

The TWu local officers want everyone to think they are doing thier job but its all a SCAM. As you expose them they want this to go away. File a grievence as well. Now its on paper. The TWU does not like a paper trail. Ask local mgmt as well, have them direct you to the person to ask. The more you ask the bigger it gets. When the TWU and AA are scammng togther making a DEAL no one wants it to fall on them.

Each time put it on paper/email make a record of who said and did what?

I thought someone might be able to narrow it down a bit more than that. A specific name for instance.

http://twu514.org/bl...ay-termination/

When were these unemployment checks contested?
Is this being done in other locals besides 514? I hit several TWU local websites and saw no other mention of this.
I find the timing of this post on the 514 website pretty convenient.

In most states when you get laid off you get a severence check for ? weeks until that money which is paid to you is exhausted you can't apply for unemployment. When you take the EO it is as if you quit or retired not available.
You can't retire or quit then expect to collect un-employment.

No Layoff here at MIA yet,

Sam Cirri on the 514 website
" Fourteen Title II positions were awarded, including myself, Debbie Tiller and other Fleet Service Clerks"

What other Fleet Service Clerks Sam? Are those clerks still at TULE ? I mean besides you two obviously.

Sam Cirri and Debbie Tiller have violated the trust of the 514 local. If the E-Board does not see fit to ask Sam and Debbie to step down local 514 should request their resignation.

Hopefully the E-Board will do the right thing and enforce the offers that were made to "and other Fleet Service Clerks"."

Thank you.

Ask the Eboard directly what they are going to do about it. Then when they do nothing post it every where.

Ask them if anyone from aircraft maintenance being rifed was given the option to take a title II spot in Tulsa?
If Not then why not?

Shouldn't jobs in a maintenance local be available to members of Maintenance before any other employee?
Even guys in AFW or DWH would of taken those jobs rather than going to ORD or JFk since employee travel is so hard these days.
