Response to USAPA ad in USA Today

Well Kids it seems that yet another crew went to hospital sick. Noxious Fumes in E-190 flying ATL-PHL.

This is nowhere near the first time it happened. USAPA and AFA may want to get on the stick as according to my source this is an ongoing issue.

There is no chance of coming off the Nic because there is no one in which to negotiate coming off the Nic.

The Nic is it.

Looks like you'll be working under your sub-B scale wages for a while.

And speaking of time, I still have 26 years to go.

Back when the old timers taught K-12 they told us about the farmer that counted his chickens before they hatched.

You guys are the majority.

You guys run the union.

You guys solely staff the NC.

You guys run the show.

Yet the only list the company has is Nicolau.

Addington was nullified on ripeness, not merit.

I'm pretty sure all my chickens are going to hatch.

I don't think so, I think USAPA has presented it's DOH list for section 22. I believe it even came up during the Addington as a reason for ripeness, didn't? I could be wrong since that has been so long ago.

USAPA pushed its list across the table and the company pushed it right back.

Like I said, the only list Parker has is the Nicolau Award.

BTW, you do understand that those C & R's I referred to were the one's the east proposed at Wye River, correct? Had nothing to do with med/arb.

Wye river doesn't count for anything. I was asking you for an analysis of USAPA's C&Rs.

The oldtimers also also used to say that no man is guaranteed tomorrow, even if all his chicken eggs hatch and each turns out to be sets of twins.

I had not heard this. Why did they file a lawsuit against us both then, if they know what to do?

Of course they know what they're doing. They pay a lot of money for good lawyering.

They want the legal backing to say no.

When USAPA goes looking for a release because of an impasse on S22, the company can tell the NMB its hand are tied. They'll show the NMB the DJ, or lack thereof, and tell them that they are worried about being sued and, thusly, have to stay with the Nic.

No release means no strike means no new contract means LOA 93.

Those old timers never had their asses handed to them by the west pilots like USAPA has.

Its not a matter of if, but when.

And, by all means, archive this post for later reference.

The strange thing is it has been reported on every fleet type in the company. The odds against having the same problem on so many different types of aircraft, from three different manufacturers is staggering.

Congrats to USAPA on the ad.

You've managed to piss off the IAM and gate agents.

You are truly a boat with one oar.

So far since the ad came out the agents seem to be more understanding and I haven't seen any change in attitide from the IAM.
