If it were me I would not have a problem with one of my LEC members working from home one or two days a week as long as work was actually getting done and the person was actually in the office the other days or putting in face time at meetings, the airport, etc.

As I typed this I did have one other thought. Do any of the LEC members expense to the Local their lodging expenses while in PHL? I would have a big problem with that since the person knowingly kived somewhere else and ran for office in PHL. To me their housing and food charges while at PHL (and home) cannot be expensed out.

Distance from PHL/Home Office is NOT the issues IMO. If she can be an effective advocate then who cares where she lives?

The issue is the competence and ethics of the person in question. Having met, I remain unimpressed.

You are correct it is not the full issue. But for the council to pay for one to have a local office and a home office is not right.
Ethics is the issue at hand and knowing the LEC VP there are many ethical issues.
She does not care about the reserves or the blockholders, only what benefits her.
Amazing that now you see a recall letter with the secretary's name on it but yet if you will recall the A330 boy stated that he did the job of the secretary/treasurer. He made it appear that he ran the whole office personally.
So what is the real story

Michael may have been given the duties of a Sec/Treas for the base (as the elected Sec/Treas would not come in the office as long as the LECP remained), however, he was not elected to the position, he was appointed and assigned by the LECP...the LECP should have been doing the Sec. Treas duties, or assigned the VP of the base to assume those duties as stated in the Constitution & Bylaws.

They, obviously, didn't want the duties.

Do believe that the VP is definitely trying to save her position, but she needs to go too. The secretary/treasurer should take over the position. Seems she is the only one that has been the ethical one in all of this. The P, VP, and the reserve chair have all been unethical with their practices so all three of them should go. Where is the list to sign the petition? Does anyone know?

Do believe that Terry G. should be recalled herself. She is just as much at fault. She does not even live in PHL she lives in CA. Works from her home supposedly. Some help that is when someone needs representation in PHL. The whole office needs to be recalled. So lets get the ball rolling. Where's the petition for both of them. Seems A330boy is upset.

100% Wrong, She and her husband own and maintain a house in Philadelphia. Saw her yesterday as a matter of fact, she was in CA 3 Days last month. That's it. Oh and by the way she was in the office M-F last week, and flew via the AIL on Saturday. With 37 years of Union experience and negotiating under her belt, I think we may want her to stick around for the few years she has left. She also told me that she (AFA) are in for the "fight of their life" with this contract merging business.... We'll see what happens!

Well do believe that we now know who aredeeyou22 is. Case in point. If she has 37 years of Union experience and negotiationing under her belt then definitly believe that she needs to go. Can't see where she has negotated anything worthwhile and can't see where she nor her experience is currently helping. Think maybe the gravy train needs to end.
