Brother REDEYE, I see exactly what you mean but I dont think it helped Randy too much this time.

Jeff A question for you.

1.Is it not the duty of the union to pursue a a grievance to its fullest ability.

By playing the word games that are going on here I feel the union is trying to shuck its duty to follow up on the COC.
The membership voted down the t/a plain and simple. They did not vote to go for arbitration they voted to not let the union out of its duty to follow up on it.Thats a big differance.

The union has always took the stand everytime something went bad to throw it back in the members face saying you voted on it.Why do they keep doing this.?

Oh let me think....if the union blows the arbitration off it could be sued.

Dont you think in the light of this last vote the union should do everything in its power to fight for the membership on the COC.?

Everyone knows where Tony stood on this except maybe Jeff. Jeff brought out the point of 'unity' so I mentioned Tony's name earlier 'only' to flush out the BS. Mark my words, Tony didn't sign his own name on the contract. Somebody signed it for him. Jeff can talk around this all day.

Fleet service should be proud of voting that rag down, Jeff hayden should be telling how proud he is of fleet service voting it down but he won't.
The facts are that the union is united moreso today than anytime over the past 20 years. Also, your labor representative [insert IAM here] is also as united as ever. The problem is that the IAM is united with your company, whereas the workers are united with eachother. Unfortunately, your negotiating team just doesn't get it. The members have spoken and members of your negotiating team are still talking about the past like this this thing might live to see another day.

Jeff Hayden doesn't have any 'juice' in PHL. They don't listen to him at all. Pick up the phone and call PHL, don't listen to me. Look at the vote.

regards,
Tim once again I will state everyone on the JNC signed their own name to unanimously recommend the TA. I dont know how that could be misconstrued as "talking around this all day". I am extremely proud of the fleet service group for staying united and voting on what they believe is right for them. Also for the amount of members who turned out to vote, the most ever for us in phl and I hope we can continue with that type of participation. I just want to make sure that the members know why the JNC made the recommendation that we did, because I think that is crucial for our group to move forward with the unity needed to successfully bargain with the company. Hopefully the questions will start to turn toward the arbitration case, problems in their cities that i could help with or any union matter that the membership needs help with, and to just build more solidarity and strenghten our group. As far as the juice in phl why dont you come to our union meeting in october and bring that up. I am also sure Tony would also like to see you down the hall, looking forward to you making the meeting. Tim you are only bringing up points that will divide us thats not what I am about, I am about bringing our group together. thanks jeff

Jeff,
Yesterday Fidelity investments found it in the best interest
of their group to buy 6 million more shares of USAirways stock
do you still believe as you have said over the past few weeks
that "In your educated opinion the membership would have been better
served had they gotten a .20 per hour raise instead of profit sharing"?
I am not sure of your education level, but i am pretty sure the folks at
Fidelity are very well educated.

Thanks

Jeff,
I'm quoting you here:
'' Hopefully the questions will start to turn toward the arbitration case, problems in their cities that i could help with or any union matter that the membership needs help with, and to just build more solidarity and strenghten our group. ''

Jeff-
Problems in other cities, c'mon, Your suppose to be The Committee Chair in Phl.
Fix your problems in Phl and then worry about other cities. Jeff, Timmy Nelson is not
dividing this group, you are. You just don't get it...65 YES Votes out of apx. 870 votes
cast. You drove down more NO Votes than YES and don't tell us you were not talking
up the YES Vote on the way down. You just don't get it !! Jeff you were appointed because
the AGC needed someone to control. You made no decisions without thier approval. Nominations
are in Nov. may I suggest you don't run or that will be 2 elections you've lost. By the way did
you have the 6 meetings required to hold a position in the local prior to being appointed ?
One more thing...You regretting ever joining this site ?? Tell the truth !!

Thanks

easy.....
I don't have positive space travel Jeff but thanks for the invite. Besides, your own membership made it clear how much juice you have, I don't have to fly there and do the math for ya. Not trying to be divisive Jeff, just pointing to the scoreboard.

Jeff, is it possible that you and the IAM will 'approve' a transition agreement where the west comes under the east contract without a vote? Is it possible?

regards,

Thanks for the kind words. I think Jeff needs to answer my question, "Jeff, is it possible that you and the IAM will 'approve' a transition agreement where the west comes under the east contract without a vote?

i think it would be a great idea to get both jeff and tim together. lets hear them both at the same time. im sure tim can still get a buddy pass. it can be a debate type forum. lets put it all out there. everyone deserves it. do you both agree?

I am not at all interested in debating Jeff Hayden. My opinion on Jeff is he has no juice and is illegitimate in PHL. Not saying I'm wrong or right, I realize that is strictly my opinion.

What I am interested in is a debate between me, Parker, and Boss Canale. Parker has shown his willingness to stand up in front of workers in his town hall meetings and tell them what he thinks, therefore he shouldn't have any problem in that same forum by sharing the podium with 'a member' in a good honest debate to 'discuss' transition agreements. I'll even let him have Canale up there with him. Such a debate would be useful to all. My preference would be CLT, I've been looking for a reason to get back there and hit carolina barbeque one more time.

Parker can get this done. Let's get it done.
