There are even laws on the books which require advance notice of plant closing if it affects over a certain number of persons. I guess some corporations are above the law!!! As 700 stated I believe the case is still tied up in a BK court somewhere.....so much for the law!!! Maybe Mr "Rubberstamp" will get off his A** and bring closure to the case!!!

It is the WARN Act and the company has failed several times to adhear to the filing dates and yet Judge Mitchell lets them get away with it.
I do believe the 2nd filing wiped out anychance of a monetary settlement being paid out.
The WARN Act requires 60 days notice when the company intends a shutdown of a facility or a large amount of layoffs.
