Now that we have taken yet another cut, anyone care to list ways the Company throws money out the Door?

I will start with EWR--- On a Daily basis, we pay World Wide $350.00 to push an RON off the gate and tow it back into the gate in the morning. The Company doesnt care that we have FSA to do this work, but would rather pay World Wide OVER $125,000.00 a year for nothing. Smart thinking CCY...........

how bout telling cbs to quit giving money to passengers who bags are mishandled...i thought you have at least 24 hrs to find the bag b4 money is given out... cbs is a big offender of money flying out the door....

how bout in these mainline express stations give some of the people an extra hour/or two to clean up the ato/bso breakrooms..etc....... get rid of the expensive cleaning people...

wake up ccy you guys throw money away like we have it????

One of my personal favorites....Dividend Mile award quick ticket fee $75 for booking with less than 3 days notice. Pax books flt within 3 days but does not ticket. Calls back again (more agent time wasted), books another res more than two weeks out for same cities. Calls back a 3rd time, tells 3rd agent to change ticket from two weeks out to the flt within 3 days. Since it does not cost anything to change the date on a DM ticket pax saves themselves $75.00 and costs the company lots of wasted man/woman hours.

Overbooking and compensation paid to folks who give up their seat. Free round trip tkt. free hotel accom and meals, and if nothing avail on US, we tkt them to off line carriers. Intl bumping gets up to $600 cash payments. In July, one family of 4 brought MCO's issued in Madrid to be cashed. They vol to give up their seats 4 days in a row and cashed out $9,600.00 in free money because inventory overbookes flights so much. Money out the window by the truck load...all summer and even now we're still givin it away at the ato.
