For the airlines, the new rate drops the cost of operating at Pittsburgh from $12.84 per passenger to $11.90 per passenger, Jenny said. The number of passengers expected at the airport this year remains at more than 5 million.

That new cost per pax is for "everyone" else..."What does SWA pay"?? I'm sure there is some sweetheart (Luv) deal there that was NOT offered to anyone else!

My assumption would be that they get the signatory deal (the price on gate fees for those who sign long-term, as opposed to month to month, leases).

WN and Allegheny County have both said that WN did NOT get any type of deal for starting service here.....whether or not I believe that is another thing.

Well, on the upside it surely was nothing like a $1.8 billion dollar terminal that U got built to suit and then dumped in Chapter 11 🙄 .
