PHX ramper(s) purposefully hold back bag and stuff warning message inside

Cost Neutral = Effort Neutral

Adding a tag on the outside of a bag is unique idea. That would raise a few eye-brows
 
I am with Boeingboy in a that a tag on the bag would be acceptable. Opening a passengers bag is just crossing the line regardless of how bad things are here. If the company would JUST listen to us and TRY to create some sort of relationship. There is such bad blood between management and employee. If you don't have happy employees your company will FAIL. It's THAT simple. This company will collapse due to the fact that EVERY group is P!SSED off beyond belief. Couple that with this blind no arrogant management and you have a recipe for disaster. Why is it so hard for this management team to grasp the concept?

If US treated their people correctly they wouldn't behave in such a manner. Ever stop to think of that?

Glad I don't work with you that's for sure. If I did we'd both be fired because as far as I know assault and battery is grounds for dismissal at most companies.

The poster is according to his screen name no longer with HP/US, ergo he is no longer "In The Arena" His views represent those who rather than fight bravely ran away. I fought bravely for years, now I make money and do what I want. I work for a non profit and help people and my organization's bottom line is taking care of people. I did the airline biz, it was great fun, I learned a lot. But, I got out and made something with my life. I own my career.

An informational tag on a bag is a nice thought, but it won't take the Tempe boys long to figure who handled the flight and start asking questions. You see, out in the West, we are expected to read bag tags before they are loaded onto the aircraft, so you might as well sign your name while placing your gripe on a passenger's bag, and hope your IAM actually does something like defend your wildcat campaign. The IAM doesn't do much else... btw... anyone read this month's "Messenger"? Straight to the cat box with that snoozer.

You wouldn't know a fight. I was a bouncer, I KNOW a fight when I see one. As for "owning" your own career, I too could be a contract Sales Trainer and get paid better with health care in the short term.

Curious....how high can you bounce?

I don't see any of YOU doin anything. Organizing anything. I'm not, I don't know how, I'm just one man, but I'll support my brothers no matter what they do. Kind of like a real family, no? Unconditional love. Maybe we need to respect one another first before the union stops bending us over.

No I was far smarter than to work for arrogant elitests like the current management. I work for a company that ranks in the top fifty in the following areas, Most admired Companies, Best Places to Work & Fortune 50. Lists that US only dreams about. We are the number one in market share and grew 3.3% in a flat market on 13 Billion is US Sales. I personally recieved over $2,500 in performance incentives, plus a profit sharing payout of over $5,000. A far cry from the piddling amount US threw to workers knowing that under the formula the payour would never be made.

Looks like hp needs a trip to the cornfield for name calling Bob in several posts now.

I have met Bob before, nice guy, him and I have had our differences here on the boards but neither of us take it personal.

It says a lot about Bob that he takes his own time and own money to let US employees they are appreciated.

Bob and Focus did more the the employees at PIT Res who lost their jobs than US management has done.

Bob also was invited to Boeing Boy's retirement dinner and spent his own money to fly their, eat dinner and stay there so Jim would enjoy the event.

US use to have award winning service and clean planes, this management has lost touch with reality, they have no idea of what the business traveler on the East Coast wants for service.

Maybe Dougweiser and his merry band of thieves need to fly on CO, AA and UA and see how a real airline treats their passengers.

Do us all a favor, give it a rest on the poor me routine. I look at the east planes that come in with all of the grafitti and worn nets and beat up bins, and there's no way that could have happend since the merger. You people generalize us with one bad egg here in PHX? Hypocrites!

700UW...I'm sure you're an awesome guy but...this airline's in a deadlock spiral to the bottom and the management doesn't care as long as "revenue" is still coming in from the synergies...when the revenue "STOPS" coming in...they blame the employees...the passengers for being so cheap and whiny...then sell off US to the highest bidder and golden parachute out enabling Dougweiser to enjoy his millions and millions and playing Golf w/ Tilton in Prescott.

Award winning Envoy Service with meals created by Chef of the Country where the flights destination was.

I made no insult towards you.

US had sabre a res system that works.

Clean planes, good onboard service.

Passenger friendly a/c configurations.

No fuel stops for coast to coast on a regular basis.
