I bet even a Walmart greater makes more money than all of those mechanics the AMFA helped out of a job. You don't get it, I hope the AMFA takes over at AA. I'd love to you guys strike, I'll fly up to Tulsa and laugh at you while you walk around in a circle with your silly signs about union pride and all that other BS. I hope you enjoy your unemployment checks, but then again you'll still have your pride. Of course, when you tell someone how good you are at doing absolutely nothing all day, I'm sure they'll jump at the chance to hire you.
 
Oneflyer, I will ask you once again, if all the union people at AA just sit around and "shirk their responsibilities" as you say, then how do over 700 airplanes get loaded, dispatched, and maintained safely 24 hours a day, 7days a week, 365 days a year? I know that they have not invented an aircraft that can do all these things by themselves. And by the way, you are further demonstrating your ignorance and arrogance about the work of others. The AMTs do have to troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and rebuild airframes and engines and then SIGN THEIR NAME TO IT. Hardly a braindead job.

If you hope AMFA takes over than why did AA include dead, retired, and many more in their attempt to inflate the eligibility list to the NMB. Was this fraud or are you guys just that bad at book keeping? I mean well over 2000 names were removed by the NMB, was that just a mistake? Why are you guys so scared of a democratic union coming in at AA? How much do the 7,000 on the street at AA currently making? AA and the twu swore at the NMB that we have 21,000 M&R workers, the current seniority lists only show 14,000 total.

BTW...you won't be flying anywhere if we were to strike, you're too cheap to buy a ticket.

Are the AA mechanics and rampers any different from the ones at DL (which is non-union). The answer is NO. By the way non-union Delta has lost MORE than AA, Who is to blame for that? How about Southwest? They are highly unionized (same TWU union for ramp). They are the highest paid and SW is highly profitable. Unlike AA, they staff ALL their cities with FULL time employees. And don't say they are more productive than AA employees because I know they have MORE people working their planes than we do. They turn their planes quicker BECAUSE THAT IS THE WAY SW MANAGEMENT SCHEDULES THEIR AIRCRAFT. AA MANAGEMENT SCHEDULES THEIR AIRCRAFT TO SIT ON THE GROUND LONGER. Again, I invite you to go to the ramp and see for yourself instead of believing what you were brainwashed to believe.

Over on the USAir board they are discussing the fact that the DOT found "the Christmas fiasco" to be totally the fault of USAir management because they did not staff PHL correctly. At the time of the event, USAir management blamed the employees. Of course, USAir management will not admit that they were wrong or issue an apology to their hardworking employees for falsely accusing them of orchestrating the meltdown. Looks like USAir management and Oneflyer are one in the same.

Maybe that's what he meant by walking across the street and getting a job paying the same. He's right, he would fit right in for a management job at USAirways.

This USairways fiasco now reminds me of the AA management job action they did at JFK a few years back and blamed on the AMT's. They canceled dozens of flights for no reason. I'm sure Bob Owens will comment about it.

With 15 years?! As a FSC at AA, can you bump any city your seniority holds, or do you have to bump the junior man on the system? What about going back to part time (probably not what you want to do; I'm just wondering if it's an option)?

<_< Only if your a nAAtive! If your exTWA, you only have 100% of your seniority if your at MCI, or STL! 25% at about 5 stations (If a.a. well let you bid them!) and the rest of the system 4/10/01! And that's only if they're not "System Protected!" Because we're not! And yes! only the junor man in the system! And if he's protected, Your #### out of luck!!!!!! :unsure: I think????? I hope that clears it up!!!!! ;)
