ROME WAS NOT BUILT IN A DAY. The TEAMSTERS Are working on a strong contract so we can keep our work in house and bring people back to work..(SOME TIMES YOU HAVE TO TRUST YOUR UNION AS I DO WITH THE IBT). I KNOW THIS IS HARD FOR YOU IAM UNION MEMBERS WHO HAVE BEEN SOLD OUT BY THE IAM.

They cant get out to vote on a contract or attend a union meeting, why do you think this would be any differant?

And don't forget the furloughed employees are eligble voters, that is why amfa gave up on US, member apathy and that was before all the layofs in the last bankruptcy.

Not many attend the union meetings, You're right.

When it comes to voting on a contract, thats a different story..as we've seen in the past, twice.

How many furloughed employees are left ?
