If she does not tell me her job function I cannot answer her.

I have stated that several times.

I have no interest in meeting an ibt supporter.

I could care less about meeting you, personally I have a mold growing in a Petri dish that is moe intelligent than you. I want to see an " official" copy of the iam cba as to ascertain if what the IBT has on their site is basically accurate, semi-accurate, or just completely concocted. the only way to do that is get a copy. Before you say it again, we can not get a copy from labor relations or our management, because after all we are still America West

Call Everett Hemenway, maybe he will give you a copy.

Glad to see all you can do is insult instead of debating.

If you do not want to meet an IBT supporter, then how can you debate. you speak as if you know everything, including the future, yet you do not provide any information to verify what you say.

All the East M&R have a copy that is all that matters.

If you want to debate go read your beloved ibt copy obtained from Manager of Labor Relations Ground Ron Harbinson, since you all seem to think it was the gospel.

No need for me to debate to you.

first you say we only insult, not debate, then you say you won't debate, I think you need to get off of your computer before you spill milk on it......

I do have a copy of my IBT contract, you must not read any replies as I said earlier I got mine from my steward when came on board. For us it IS the gospel, until a full intergration and a new contract can be ironed out.

Mr. 700,
I cannot believe your posts. You are like a Jekyll and Hyde. You NEVER give ANYONE a straight answer. You twist things around and you either answer a question with a question or make your now infamous statement about not letting the facts get in your way. Do you know fact from fiction?
Your comments about Airwoman not giving you a job classification over and over and over are another attempt to make yourself look like an IAM rep. If I read it correctly, you were told that your assistance was no longer being requested. And this is not the first time that you have belittled, degraded and been a total a$$ to posters on this board.
Does your beloved IAM know that you are putting yourself out on this board like you are a representative of the IAM? Are you an elected rep? If you are, you are not putting yourself out there as an open minded, compassionate, and info passing rep. And employees from both companies wonder why there are such attitude and union problems. A group established for "cultural integration"?? Should be easy to integrate aviation professionals who want to stay employed but the cultural ingtegration appears like a cover up title for "trying to undo years and years of blindly loyal union-itis and try to make the kids play nice together".
Even if you're not an offical representative of or for the IAM, you ARE a representative of US Airways (if you really are an employee). And it's a sad day to find even one employee like you, spreading your misinformation and poison against anything that isn't IAM. You preach the hell and fire and brimstones of the IAM but you will not or cannot accept that there are people who are loyal to and fight for their representation as well.
And please tell everyone why you would not accept PhxRanchHand's invitation. And why you have no interest in meeting an IBT supporter. Aren't all union members brothers and sisters??
Both airlines have been merged. And none of us had any say in it. Each airline alone was not going to make it but a second chance has been given to all the employees. This is a new year and I hope that both sides and put aside their differences and unite for success. Will you be the first????

Snafu,

You will never get a straight answer from any of the iam company lapdogs. As I've said countless times,"Everthing is a secret with them". You can't even get an answer from known iam reps. The facts get in their way. If the facts don't serve their pupose they will dance around them with inane rhetoric. 700 is a prime example. The iam can't be trusted to do right by it's membership. As I listened to the mechanic town hall with DP the one thing that kept repeating itself was the reopening of the contract. Count on the iam to give in on anything that DP wants. Including the scope. The iam is only after dues payers and don't care about sacrifices the membership have to make. They will just raise the dues so they can keep going to those pointless conventions and keep fuel in the Lear. Is the ibt any different? I think not. The End

It's good news to here that the 737 parts are coming back to CLT.[for the short term],
But the question is, Will the company accelerate the retirement of the 737 fleet on the east side while building up the airbus fleet on the west side..?
The company is building up the RJ’s fleet NO!!!!!!! mainline A/C to be added and a long time maybe/maybe not E190 why would the company add E190 ALPA gave the company the right to outsource 92- 86 seat crj900

The company during transition negotiations want the right to schedule US/East Aircraft to be worked on by HP AMTs, the IAM has refused as it is US/East's AMTs work.

The IAM does not cave, the membership voted to accept the final offer and not take on the company, so everyone must live with the results.

And to snafu, if you want peace and harmony tell the ibt to stop raiding the US/East Mechanic and Related.
