Mec Meeting To Recall Teddy

They have no clue to what they are doing, if it was not for Teddy, the working conditions for the US F/A's would have been much much worse.

The former MEC President was a management shill, he was willing to give everything up and let the chips fall where they would.

Teddy had to move mountains to get the former MEC to let her in to just observe negotiations. And they tried to silence her.

The former MEC even tried to negotiate IAM covered work without any regard to the IAM members who would have been laid-off due to Perry Hayes lack of what unionism is all about. Teddy stepped in and had a letter drafted to stop the work occuring where in conflict with another union's collective bargaining agreement. See she is a trade unionist at heart, she was protecting all US workers.

Management has tried to silence her and bring her down, and she has prevailed, she was the only TRUE UNION LEADER to not back down from this company.

Flores wanted her job from the get go, this man has no negotiating experience and on TV and in the newspaper always seems pro-managment, the likes of Glass and Hemingway will eat him alive. Jealousy will only hurt the F/As as a group, his ego is trying to cash checks that his body can't cover.

I truly feel sorry for the AFA members at US if they let their elected leadership recall Teddy.

The F/As should be outraged and threaten to become dues objectors and withold as much dues as possible and make the MEC members who vote for this recall responsible for the downfall of the AFA at US.

As an outsider ( not for long), (and there are more of me who are reading, but not posting) I am seeing lots of support FOR Teddy, but so far only a couple AGAINST. And one of them seems to be management, so that is the same as FOR Teddy, in my book.
Truly, I want only to understand the 'sins' she is accused of that are bad enuf to merit recall. "She's planning on leaving" don't cut it.

An untrained monkey can get concessions from labor in Chapter 11. The credit (such that one can call it that without puking) for the slaughter of the US CBAs goes to Arnold and Porter. Glass was merely a figurehead (monkey).

Profitable companies (particularly airlines) don't employ people like Glass.

Next CCY case? Hawking the Truth and removing smoke and mirrors about the crew at CCY is like shooting fish in a barrel.

I don't know about that. I think things could be MUCH worse if someone else had been in there negotiating. Glass would like nothing better than to not have to deal with Teddy.

Name a group that's done better. Certainly not the pilots.
