The last two 3%s were put in place to make up some money while negotiating. I see the point, and it makes sense especially since there doesn't seem to be retro anymore. It would be nicer if it was a bigger %, and more than just 2 years. You would get the company to come to the table and negotiate if it was 5% or more a year

That's a good Idea. 5% a year till a new CBA. I will vote you in as a member of the negotiating committee next CBA.....

At least we wouldn't continue to fall behind the cost of living increase curve. It still doesn't excuse the company from coming to the table and negotiating in good faith.

I hope you guys are following the AA threads about the teamsters. Since the teamsters are currently having card drives at AA and US you may want to pay attention as there are rumors that the teamsters were caught forging as many as 400 cards. Do you guys really want a union like the teamsters if they are fraudently collecting cards?

I recently received reports from the field that one of your organizers was found forging the names of American Airlines M&R employees on IBT authorization cards. I asked my staff to investigate this matter. they have reported that a source inside the teamster headquarters has confirmed these allegations, and I have also been given the name of the organizer involved.


These accusations raise serious questions regarding the integrity of teamsters campaign and whether the rights of TWU members have been violated.


Please inform me immediately as to whether these allegations are factual

Given the 3% we have coming/Ends in July the Company has generously offered to add 2% total for the next 18 Months following. Obviously there is no legitimate contract negotiating going on. Stay and Work Safe !!!!

I think the IBT is in PIT with the layoff US guys to get cards, After that i think they will file.

No matter what this pole states most of the votes are NON- US M&R members like 700 and how many screen names does have and all the AMFA boys from swa and UAL boys. What i hear is IBT is doing good at AA and US the people i talk to (AMT's) say the same here at AA in the out stations.

. Don't believe everything you hear. Teamsters are failing miserably here at AA. They are knocking on non signers doors again and sent out a second mail out. Now the teamsters are being accused of forgery. Does that sound like a successful drive?

1AA we will see if it's AMFA or IBT its ok with me just not IAM or TWU the low wage unions have to go.
