Now that's funny. We can't even get the TWU to remove the 53 cents rotating shift pay that nobody at AA qualifies for (I think I remember Bob Owens bringing this up). We also can't get them to remove US Air from the average. IMHO we are lucky to get what we are getting. I was fully expecting just the 3%. Looks like we got about 5%. Still way behind the Delta plus 7% mark though.AA-MRO.COM said:A recalculation needs to occur if UAL signs off on the new contract. What will be the twu excuse ......
But who is stopping whom? Is it Parker and Co. playing the Association or is the Association playing Parker?AANOTOK said:And lets remember, this has nothing to do with savior Doug Parker and crew or the "Association". This is nothing more than what was thrown our way in the BK contract. I have yet benefit to one iota from the Association or Parker at the helm.
As long as Facilities base pay is higher the Mechanics than I am good......BigMac said:Were the OSMs & Cleaners the only.M&R group not to receive a higher % then the 3% CBA raise?
I thought is was going to be the same % across the board, 700?
How did facilities get 8% and A&Ps get 5%?
I looks like since Delta, United and US Air don't have OSMs there was nothing to compare to. So instead of using the AMT pay without license they did a 3% raise instead that was much less of course. Yeah you got hosed. Makes you wonder what they are going to do if/when the Delta plus 7 comes around. Anyone want to guess?BigMac said:Were the OSMs & Cleaners the only.M&R group not to receive a higher % then the 3% CBA raise?

What you're seeing is a classic redistribution of wealth. What it; in affect, does is diminish the value of your A&P license pay. Not only did they give them the skill premium - well that wasn't enough - lets sneak by this base pay increase. Maybe the A&Ps won't notice. This is just a continuation of this commie union philosophy, always at the expense of the AMTs. If any of you fence sitting AMTs ever had any doubts as to how this upcoming negotiation process is going, this AMT slight, ought to serve as an eye opener.BigMac said:Were the OSMs & Cleaners the only.M&R group not to receive a higher % then the 3% CBA raise?

The sad part is my fellow AMT's are either blind or do not care. I hear many complain but see little or no action from them.Vortilon said:
