. Don't believe everything you read. Especially from the teamsters. They said that aa must open the contract with new representation. Another lie. Majority at line stations? Doubt it very much. They play games with your mind. They say anything they want. Who is to stop them?

I take it that you are getting the 2 hours of overtime pay a day--which is pathetic. Thanks for the confirmation
you are a fool.....................know nothing about the ASAP program, and you could care less...............

My point was that is does NOT matter WHO gets elected. Little and the International run this Union period. Everyone of these guys were previous Presidents. What happened? I know some of them are decent men, but why take an oath of allegiance to something so pathetic? At least be men of your word.
As usual you make a good point Dave.

No, I was just following up on a rumor that Ken mentioned about you guys getting 2 hours of overtime a day for doing whatever. I have heard the same rumor. Not sure why you are getting all defensive about it. But since you are defending it, can you tell me how you got that deal?

I heard that rumor to that Gordon Clark, Vanderlou, some eboard guy in ORD, another in eboard guy in JFK all get paid 2 hours overtime every day to do ASAPs. Kind of surprised to hear about an ORD and JFK guy. Wouldn't think that we have that many ASAPs that they each need 50 hours a week.

Oryano in LAX gets it too.
Do the master's bidding and get rewarded.
The twu democracy is a basterdized democracy.

I know that Doug Housley gets paid 2 hours a day for his ASAP work, he has made not secret of it at AFW. My guess is even though he is now at DWH, he still continues to get the extra 2 hours a day ASAP pay, from AA. I was also told Don Videtich confirmed the 2 hours pay a few weeks ago when he was in LA. My guess is that anyone on Team VIdetich gets a little extra pay from AA for doing the devils work. Hey Observer...Why not fess up and admit you are on the Videtich/AA dole too! You seem to have taken the comment personally, it is better to admit the truth, than hide behind the fat man.

Aren't Mike Garcia and Thom Lee Fleet Service in Mia?

Kind Regards,
Harvey West

Clicked "post" too quick.

Vote for John Ruiz for Western Region VP. JR has always been a stand up man and believes in putting the membership first which for some reason videtich/gless/little don't like.

JR is a total stand up guy. Everything he does is for the membership, not trolling for a fat cat International job. I am in awe of his devotion, integrity, and perseverance. The other candidates do not come close.

Yea they call a press conference to say they are not even at 50% which everyone knows mean nothing you will need high 50's before you can even consider filing, plus you read what they believe is the craft and class and it is clear to those of us who know that they do not have a clue what they are dealing with. The Teamsters have told folks in Tulsa that they would file in Dec,Jan then Feb and now they admit they are no where near ready to file, they also claim a majority in Tulsa yet they are planning on going door to door in a town that is supposed to be their stronghold that would be like AMFA going door to door in Dallas.

You guys better figure out that the AMFA,the guys who have been working on the list of 18601 that was deemed eligible in 2004 plus everyone who has been hired since then represent your very best oppurtunity to get rid of the TWU. If you let these knuckleheads file short and we do not get to vote the NMB will ban all groups from submitting cards for one year and the TWU will win.

If you truly want out of the TWU sign a AMFA card today and we will get a election!

Yes we have an ASAP guy at JFK. He brought it to the board for approval and we approved of his participation. He will be coded UBI but has told me he is not getting the 10 hours added.

You would think that this info would be given to the Local Presidents, that someone from his local is being put on a sort of Union leave but we weren't even informed that the International had negotiated a new pay code to replace UBB. This is just more eveidence of the complete contempt the ATD has for the elected Local leaders.

I think the ASAP is a good program and we should keep it as long as it remains something thats there for our coworkers and our craft, not a place for Don to stick his buddies and keep them off the floor with an extra $26k in their pockets to keep them loyal. We approved our guy, 565 did not approve Bob Vanderlou, but thats Dons buddy, so he gets it, well Don isnt accountable to any member so thats wrong. Step by step the International is taking away even the facade of democracy. A while back Bobby Gless decalred that the benefits committee is only answerable to the ATD, not the Presidents council. The ATD will determine who is on it and the presidents have no say in it. Now Don is trying to do the same with ASAP, another place where he can place his buddies. In the contract he built in even more committees for gain sharing and other union busting schemes Don had put in our contract, things that still, five months into the agreement have not been defined.
