It's the sort of layoff that should have happened the first time, so that the subsequent concessions and layoffs wouldn't have been necessary. :huh:
Do the math correctly, the company has reduced 20,000 jobs. This is in addition to that. Its not that those 20,000 job losses wouldn't have happend. Taking out another approx. 20-30% is huge. Translates to folks left on the property working harder for less money, and less flexibility in work rules which will prevent employees from working other jobs to make up the losses or restore income for their families future.
These furloughs are designed to occur because of MORE productivity enhancements. We gave productivity gains in the winter concessions by all labor groups. <_< Folks like yourself have forgotten that cause you don't live it.
