#1 Aren’t you the same guy who said that it was a done deal? Integrity stands at ZERO.

#2 I’d love to make a one thousand dollar bet against all the hoqwash you just wrote.

Ok Kev wants reality. Picketing costs money and maybe the IAM doesn’t want to spend that money? And they also have language in their contract that may make it difficult?

Either way it’s the rest of the Labor movement that see’s them not participating and could be their own personal Albatross to have to deal with?

Otherwise sorry to say, maybe TWU doesn’t want them there in an Official capacity?

Plenty of why’s besides what you’re saying Tim. But your guess is as good as anybody’s.

Keeping a LearJet let alone flying it costs money. Per diem costs money.

The most picketing costs is getting adequate permit(s), communication, cost of flyers, and maybe refreshments. But most significantly it means the “leaders” have to interact with the people who pay their cushy salaries.

Why is it that, apparently, grievances from 2009 are still outstanding (or have taken years to get resolved)?

Bottom line is if it was a priority it would get done. Just like it’s ultimately managements responsibility to make sure PJs are loaded for FC pax on an AFS service or someone’s VGML gets loaded properly, if it was a priority it would get done.

Don’t you have Mortgage Loan applications you need to process piling up on your desk? LMAO.

Nope not a loan officer, underwriter or servicer for that matter.

Why is that in 03/2014 the IAM picketed outside B-1/south at Logan and then treasurer Steve Grossman even paid a visit? Is 141 only willing to picket for standalone talks? Is Klemm not a fan of picketing but Delaney and Canale were willing to back in the day?

The Association should be explaining the challenges faced by the IAM and the TWU as each side is trying to get different things for each of their memberships.

The IAM is trying to preserve some of their priority items such as their Scope and Medical language.

The TWU is trying to gain in their allotment of holidays, sick days, double time language and the like.

Our unions and the Association have to balance the needs of two sides, while at the same time dealing with the positions of the Company.

Once a TA comes out I'd be pretty surprised if many in the TWU wouldn't want for the process to continue rather than accept the changes that are certainly coming. At that point, both sides may see these negotiations from similar viewpoints. It is unfortunate there is no dialogue to bridge that gap today.

Those that criticize the IAM for not participating in the protests don't really seem to have any idea of what is happening or taking any consideration as to the position of our Brothers and Sisters in the IAM.

Why don’t you divulge who you really are and you may actually get people to both read you and even answer?

I never really did understand what people are afraid of? Maybe that’s Political too? Or part of a bigger agenda?

Otherwise though you do raise a good question here I have to admit if true.

Tough questions.

If the IAM cannot get what considers to be important in a JCBA (catering, US healthcare, scope, etc.) while it maintains veto control to nix any Association TA, then why should anyone be surprised when it requests Section 6 when the time comes? Obviously after years of negotiations with the Association, the IAM could argue there is an impasse and push quickly for mediation.

Given the Company has demonstrated very profitable quarters, the IAM may believe their best chances are with mediation and binding arbitration in order to maintain what was kept through a couple of US bankruptcies. It would require IAM breaking with the Association, but I am not feeling much love between the IAM and TWU lately.

NYer the Weez speculates Tim states it as fact, big difference there. I just got done saying you don't state your opinions using emotion guess when the Weez is involved the gloves come off

I may get under his skin even more now that I ignore him both here and even more so blocked on Facebook?

I could care less about the man or his opinions any longer. Absolutely completely honest.

Albert... you haven't seen the gloves coming off yet.

W can't stay focused on the issue of conversation and he usually goes into a insult ridden rant. Then he likes to point out what others do of which many times he's also guilty of. Hence, the pot calling the kettle black.

If we're having debates, let's be adults about it.

The nmb will not consider much of what you said until about 4 years after an ammendable date, if the iam stalled to section 6. The evidence is that they are stalling as it has chosen not to attend solidarity functions. Parker loves it.
At any rate, this whole jcba should be about building upon what we already have. Thats not goin to happen with a one man band (twu).
