JCBA Negotiations and updates for AA Fleet

Yeah, he's kind of like that saying get rid of your Association, holding up his AMFA pom poms, meanwhile he has no answers what's going on in SWA's backyard.

Get rid of the Association? No one on the property voted on it; it was concocted in March 2013, reportedly at the direction of the AFL-CIO. The membership was originally promised a vote which never happened despite repeated posts by a vocal IAM drumbeater who has since left this forum.

The TWU ultimately manned up and stepped aside in 2006 after HP/US, but only after violence at the PHL Marriott and dozens of terminations and litigation. The IAM brought on the mess of TWA, plaguing the company with debt, dumpy old misfit aircraft, dilapidated facilites that are now shuttered all while ending the careers of many of their “bothers and sisters”.

It’s time for the IAM to man up and grow a set. They’ve pivoted the future of their organization to focusing on low wage, low benefit type outfits like McGee and UGE, plus their leadership talked of getting a hand in the gig economy at the AFL-CIO convention this week.

So being unorganized wasn’t bad at all was it WeAA? I thought you wanted to be an NYC garbage collector, that’s a pretty clutch gig with great job security.

Um who do I work for now Josh? Not FedEx with their “Internal Union, Guaranteed Fair Treatment” scam BS. One year busting my nut and my Supervisor giving me a .25 cent raise.

Union all the way!!!!!!

Don't know about the non-maintenance side of FedEx but I work the Maintenance side of it and I can tell you I make far and away more money here than I ever did under a union (IAM) and AMFA at NWA as an AMT. I also have gotten a raise every year since I've been here I have no desire to ever go back to a union under the railway labor act and have my contract become amendable and have a pay freeze for 5 years waiting on a contract only to get a "signing bonus" instead of full retro. As long as the RLA has your hands tied working at an airline at least on the AMT side of the house is a bad deal. For you guys(fleet) though being in a union especially an industrial union works ok. Would not recommend it for any AMT.

I was a delivery driver in Manhattan. Different company altogether if you’re in an unskilled position. Both from personal experience and many conversations over the years.

Glad they take good care of you though.

G Peterson just now laid it on the line for Parker:
Get it done before the end of the year, the 2 dates you have won't get it done.
Parker danced for us, again.
GP did all he could within civil reason, let's see what Mr Parker does in the coming days/weeks.

I only wish he would have asked Parker to unequivocally commit to non stop negotiations starting tomorrow at DFW until finished, we deserve that much at this point.

Gary most definitely put Parker on the spot. Parker did dance, but I am anxious to see if Parker follows up on more meetings. His excuse for the lack of meetings seems to be they are unproductive. That tells me AA is the one who is lying about not wanting to meet. Mr Isom is indeed a liar.

And Mr Parker will be too busy with the NAACP trying to cover all that bad press that came out recently just before the holiday traveling. Parker is known for backing away from his word. Good luck trying to get more dates.

Can’t wait to see the video. And we need to load up that comments section.

The iam wont man up but many are unfortunately wanting to get rid of the Ass in ord. Key people are apparently talking amongst the masses and sadly it may be only a matter of time before it happens.we should stick with the association, at this time.

Do those key people know the peeps and the stews? And be mindful of any asshats you might run into out there Tim. Asshats like to cause trouble.

If that happens you can kiss your IAM political career goodbye. The ASS benefits the IAM members more than it does TWU so your key peeps are fools

Wrong Weez ain't happening, you forgot about UAL's Height requirement Tim misses it by a couple of feet. Do you no if the Chicago Hot Walkers are in the IAM?

I think the peanut chuckers at Wrigley Field are organized by the IAM and they have no height requirement as long as you have Popeye arms?
