Im lucid. Not ticked although it does make me angry that you guys didnt fight this. Im advocating for your members here so put your ego aside. Has nothing to do with balls but i guess i cant stop you from that sorta talk. Do you even have any idea where we got that back to back language? Chandlee and maccarone plucked it right from the usair teamster contract. Harbison and miklavic had history.

At any rate, why dont you tell those you represent why you decided not to arbitrate?

Its going to get arbitrated if you guys get removed but it should be arbitrated now. Do it.
Maybe if you yell a little louder, I’ll ignore the fact that you won’t answer my questions and want to continue to go to another issue. I don’t mind at all discussing everything and anything. But like I said. This all started with the BS you were trying to spread. I just want you to back up your statements and answer me about what we said about section 6 and stalling. Then we can go to other issues. Or just keep yelling.
 
there was no mention of anyone in the TWU not being interested in paying less for medical.
Picketing around here is a bit tough I belive in the past the city only grants a permit for like 25 people I think
Just to clarify, clt isnt that bad actually. It may define a limit to picketing or even a space which may limit the amount carrying signs but picketing is never limited to those who dont carry signs or dont stand still. You could have hundreds in clt as long as people were constantly moving (usually circle movements) and arent passing out flyers. Passing out flyers is an identifier. I had to get permits at alot of airports and the solicitation is what is heavily regulated. But you could have hundreds if they kept moving and werent all handing out flyers.

Fine, you dont have to answer me. But your members will want to know why you didnt fight like you should have over pt instead of taking someones word. The intent of that back to back was to create full time. Listen to me on this because you simply dont know. You could b a hero and win this so it prolly isnt politically prudent of me to coach you on it. Not saying im smarter but you werent there. And of course you know things that i dont as well.
That 18 hours is even grievable, not just the 2 pt shifts. 2 FT = 17 hours. Id arbitrate that as well. You are getting hung up on 'single" but that wasnt the intent. If you take that literal (and you shouldnt because it was never intended to take literally) then we never would have won any grievances. 2 back to back 5.5 work hours would have never been won, but it was and never had to go to step 3 back in the day. Also, full time can have 10 hr shifts. So harbinson and miklavic just agreed 1 hour in between any back to back. Im always fighting for more, maybe to a fault, so i was pissed. Thats how i got 1.5 hours in ord. Miklavic and harbinson didnt want to deal with me.

You need to revisit. Someone is holding up arbitrating it.
 
My w2 shows a value of 9401.88 I have the value plan after 5 surgeries and waiting on another one in a couple of weeks value plan for me has been worth it

As a multiple surgery survivor myself congrats on getting thru them and good luck on the one coming up

Tim nothing personal but this PT thing in ORD doesn’t interest me as much as you saying that Baskett, Fairbanks or Reagan were going around CLT telling people they were stalling talks to get to Section 6 next year?

I agree with you Tim, but they would involve our IAM leaders to get off their butts and out of the AC where they are comfortable as the Company pays their electric bills and they do not want the AC to get turned off.

Its fake news by the union that only 25 can show up. Either that or whoever organizes the event doesnt understand how it works. If everyone isnt handing out flyers are standing still you could have hundreds. Back in 2008 with the westie merger i want to say there were 300-500 pilots at clt rallying. But the permit is for 25.

Now what you have to realize is the union has their own agenda. Let’s think about it for a moment, two part timers vs one full timer means more union dues collected for the IAM! The IAM is out to make money and stay in business and oh yea they will also get to representing the membership after they have gotten what “THEY” want.
 
I believe that our elected $130k a year IAM representatives have gotten too comfortable with their positions in the IAM. They have forgotten what it is like to actually work I mean really work. Maybe our elected negotiators to take a little break and come back to the ramp and see how life really is, especially living paycheck to paycheck. I am not sure any of them could even lift a bag anymore.
