JCBA Negotiations and updates for AA Fleet

Now what you have to realize is the union has their own agenda. Let’s think about it for a moment, two part timers vs one full timer means more union dues collected for the IAM! The IAM is out to make money and stay in business and oh yea they will also get to representing the membership after they have gotten what “THEY” want.
Its disappointing.
These guys came back with a unlimited part time agreement at united and agreed that the company has no commitment to ANY job at united in 2024. So in return united gave the iam UGE which has unlimited pt and a wage scale that is up to management. Doin the same thing at american. Triple back pt and the FT needs 35 years for day shift weekend in clt.
You are correct. They never fight except for their own $175,000 and 4 retirements. In the meantime, triple back pt cuz their agcs d ok nt fight.

Tim aren’t you running against one of them to also make $175,000 and get 4 retirements?

I expect if you win though you’ll be donating your extra cash to my favorite charitable cause?

I know that Tim has big Kohunas. For once it would be nice to have one of our AGC’s use the urinal rather than always sit down in the stall as the company told then not to splash on their floor,

I know the AGC’s have not had the priviledge of even wearing the new uniforms that we all love so much, especially in the warmer climates. I would even bet that they could not even fit into their shoes led uniforms as they have not had to in quite some time.

I know that when the election comes around for the AGC positions that we will hear the same BS. You need to vote for us as you need to keep continuity together and that new members elected will only slow down negotiations. I don’t think that is the case when you are only meeting once a month. I think maybe new “Hungry” AGC’s is what everyone needs for the IAM,

Remember this, reality check. Fleet Service does not have many members with 4 year college degrees or even 2 year associates degrees. That being said the company knows that as well. So the membership is just not smart enough to push back on what the IAM is telling the membership. There is not enough common sense in bulk for the membership to question the actions and lack of actions that the AGC is not executing. When someone does have an intelligent question, at one of their “Day” “High Seniority” briefings, the AGC response is usually: in front of everyone, “Why don’t you see me afterwards and we can talk about that”. That is due to the intelligent question not being a part of their “Well Rehearsed Script” that they have memorized to say at the briefing.

Maybe we should request that the TWU AGC members also give contract progress briefings at IAM stations that way the membership can here from a union that is not afraid to vouch their displeasure with AA about the contract. The IAM is SO QUIET you could hear a mouse fart.

I plan on winning in april dor international prez. I already picked 10 charities in charleston sc to donate to prior to the spocial convention in june.

Oh and one more interesting tie bit, come December 1, 2017 United Airlines top out pay rate for fleet service will rise to $30.47 plus $0.75 longevity Pay after 30 years of service. So those ISM GSC’s that ate telling everyone we are leading the way in wages will be mistaken again. 30 year United fleet service would be making, let’s see if my math is ok as I am not the most educated work group at AA, $30.47+ $0.75 = $31.27. Last time I checked $31.27 was more than $30.87. But then again maybe the majority can add that up to find out that once again we are second fiddle. But when you make $175k a year what is the rush you already have your FAT DADDY RAISE! So go ahead IAM AGC reps keep telling the members we are the highest paid, all yo7 have to do is go to IAM141 United and they have a count down on the cove page that is counting down to the day they will pass us up. Then the AGC members will have a strategy meeting as to how they can tweak their BS for the IAM membership.

We only see the ghost of the headless horseman with his head with a long ponytail in his hands around when it is election time. Can’t seem to have any time to visit the membership day or night as he is just so busy with the negotiations. Well that is what he tells the members, but wait they are only meeting once a month. How does that make any sense? Oh that is right I am not to question hi or he will pack up camp and catch the little yellow bus home.

By the way when are the elections for the GSC position? I am really interested as with that $175k and 4 retirements I would love to know how it feels to not live paycheck to paycheck.

Read the contract again Sir. The Longevity pay at IAM UAL Ramp has been discontinued. They don’t get longevity pay any longer.
