JCBA Negotiations and updates for AA Fleet

Stalling? Yeah I guess they like being away from their families and living out of a suitcase. 3 more years why not. Tim don't you think they could really be stuck on issues medical for example. Besides didn't you say Fleet was done and just waiting for AMTS. It really looks like you have a personal ax to grind
Some do like being away. Im sure Mark doesnt, he is a family guy. But they make it pretty comfortable for them. Nice salary, 4 retirement plans, expenses, nice hotels.

At any rate, they usually only spend 3 nights or 4 nights in a negotiations week. And if they only negotiate one week a month then thats not much. But, they are well taken care of.

Hey Tim look at the question I asked CB and P. Rez that they won’t address:

CB or PREZ:

The IAM has demonstrated its willingness to go around the usual district lodge structure at an incumbent carrier and create a low wage, low benefit outfit with voluntary recognition to collaborate with the company to contain costs while collecting dues. What protections will you champion for the membership and language to protect against this at AA? Specifically I’m referring to McGee (Alaska) and UGE (United).

Josh

P Rez, point is your people pay well below for what similar coverage costs today. It’s no longer 2002 or 2005. We would be hearing to no end that wages need to reflect the current market rate (had the company not given wage increases outside of the JCBA or section six process), health care is no different. Your CBA is a comprehensive package. I guess you still subscribe to the old America West attitude that it’s ok to have people making near minimum wage, we can kick the can down the road since we have great scope (in reality it would have been hard for the company to find a vendor able to undercut that bargain basement CBA).

They both stand down and have to support the iam canibalizing its own at alaska and united. But the mcgee contract isnt even minimum wage. Remember, they waived 15 local ordinances including the sea minimum wage of $15.34. At uge they didnt agree to lock in any wage. Period. They agreed to a wage scale and right below it they agreed that management can cut the wage scale whenever it wants if it sends a letter to the iam. Never mind that if someone transfers into management then they continue to accrue seniority forever if they wanna come back, but only management transfers.

Basketts email was complete fraud.
He isnt clt voice at the table since they arent even at the table. Everything they get is secondhand as they simply allowed sito to go solo.
He mentions me and politics but i dont get any political juice telling iam members that we should be picketing jointly. Most iam members believe the twu is the enemy cuz our leadership claims twu doesnt want our insurance. If i was playing politics, i would pretty much not mention picketing with the twu.

At any rate, they are stalling. I can say that with certainty because they havent fought alongside. Either fight or stall. At any rate, the dol busted mark before for using his email list and ill ask for access to it now since he triggered election talk again.

I guess the dol cant stop him from doing things he was already instructed before not to do.

I like mark but they are certainly stalling cuz they are standing down regarding coordinated efforts.
There is no way the company will take anyone seriously if the twu stands alone. In the meantime i guess mark will use his list for political purposes. Im glad he is angry, hopefully they get up off their asses and join the rest of the association. Hopefully he goes to dfw. Mark you goin to dfw or do you gotta ask sito?

And its doubly sad that him and fairbanks coughed up back to back pt by reinterpreting the language.
Sad
Do you think you can just say any old crap you want and people will believe it? No my email is not fraud.
First off I never mentioned your name when I stated someone was spreading BS Rumors. Why did you feel the need to assume I was talking about you?? Guess that says a lot right there. And the DOL did contact me about my email list because I denied turning over the contacts to you due to it being a personal email. But they never directed me to share it with you. That’s why you never got it. And no I will not be sharing it with you this time or the next or the next. Get it? Way too many people would demand that i take them off the email if they knew you were getting it. So can’t do that. Stick with your Facebook page where you control what’s said and what’s not said. It’s very credible. And no the IAM never said we wanted to stall to get to section 6. We are not stalling. We are determined to bring back a leading industry contract. And we will.
And again your wrong on who opened up about the politics. Go back and read your Facebook post and see. I told you along time ago that you are your own worst enemy. People can never beilieve what you state. Tim, you can spew all your half truths you want, but I’m gonna call you out when your informing our members with BS. We will let the members decide who they believe soon enough. By the way, I remember you stating you had transfer in for Clt both for pt and ft. We have pt openings! Did you get called? We are hiring off the street. Hope you hurry and get down here, maybe you’ll walk the break rooms with me, and we will let the people decide where the bs is coming from. Let me know if you need me to check on that transfer for you.

You are stalling. If you werent, you would support our association and join in picketing. But you dont and then suggest the reason why you wont is because the company may push back. Fine, management loves that.
But in the meantime, every other union and labor council understands we all need to stand with eachother as one.

As far as me being my own worst enemy, im pretty proud of everything ive done, and pushing you guys is part of it.

Oh I’m well aware your very proud of everything youve done. That’s part of your problem. And again. No we are not stalling. Has any TWU member on the negotiating team stated they would bring out an agreement if it wasn’t for the IAM guys. I don’t think so. Why wouldn’t they be pissed if we were stalling? And I have no problem with joining the picketing. Unfortunately, I have my personal reasons I can’t be there in Dfw, but I have no problem with picketing. I was just staring on a earlier post that there are different opinions on if and when it should be done.
Now answer my question. How about that transfer?? I’m really looking forward to you getting here.

Oh the iam certainly is stalling. Every labor group, even anfa understands solidarity.
Another labor council will now be there. Sorry to hear our iam leaders all got better things to do. Smh.
No, i havent heard any twu officer point fingers because it would be unprofessional of them to do so and make things look even worse.

As far as clt, every winter i get a feeling to come back. Maybe you would have the same feeling if you lived in chicago.

You stated that Mike Fairbanks and Mark Baskett was going around in clt and saying we wanted to stall and go to section 6. Then you started all your BS about how long that would take. So since you e been called out on that statement, you shift it to the IAM stalling because of the picket!! You see?? Can you begin to grasp what I’m talking about? You jump and shift all over the place to try and keep your point. You have no point about what we said in clt. Zero!!
And I don’t have anything better to do for the picket. I told you it was personal. I have to go to a funeral. That’s definitely not better.
And as far as having a feeling about Ord in the winter time? Haha. The only difference for me is I would have had that feeling before I ever left Clt. I hate cold.

It really really will go a long way for the association if there was a total commitment to picketing together. One thing i dont think you realize is that the majority of our iam members are disappointed. Company loves having only half truly support picketing.

I would agree it would go a long way. And our members disappointed at what? Picketing? Or a contract? People always want more, and something new. It’s exciting. It’s human nature. But if you say our members are disappointed that they haven’t got to vote on going to the LAA Insurance, or getting a .30 cent an-hour raise at top of scale, or losing jobs, losing scope language, which is what’s on the table right now, than you are wrong. They are not disappointed with that. I’ve been in many break rooms, they all tell me not to bring that pos back.
But again, you do notice how you have shifted the conversation about stalling to a completely different issue don’t you? This is what I’m talking about. You wanted to talk about it on your Facebook page where nobody can respond. So now that I can respond on here, tell everyone what Mike Fairbanks and Mark Baskett said in the Clt Break rooms about stalling to section 6. Tell everyone what we said to stall?? It will really help your credibility on here and in clt if you will tell us. Go ahead.

Not sure i follow you. We want and need a cost positive contract that doesnt give up work. What is your plan for achieving that? The only way i know is solidarity but you guys havent shown any of that to our association picketing. Without one unified union please tell us how you plan to get the company to give us a equitable agreement? You say you are fighting....how?

What’s hard to follow about my post? I want you to tell everyone on here and me, what we said in the break rooms about stalling talks. Your the one that said we both wanted to go to section 6. When did we state this? And what’s our reasoning for it. You seemed to be very knowledgeable on your Facebook post about it. You threw it out there on your Facebook page, now back it up. You do remember what you said don’t you. Answer my question so we can get back to discussing negotiations.

Yea I figured you wouldn't answer my question. There is an audience here and I thought you would answer it. Oh well.

BTW, you mentioned that you are fighting. How? Please tell us exactly how you guys are fighting? You aren't even the voice of CLT in negotiations because you aren't in negotiations. You get everything second hand. You aren't there. You are down the hall or in another building. Sad. So we are stuck with two mechanics negotiating for us, Sito and Tommy. Good job! At least Peterson demanded someone from his group be in the executive talks.

Hey, for the first time in 32 years, we finally have pilots that support our Association and picket with us. Did you know that?
For the first time we have stews picketing with us. We have Labor Councils. Cripes, we even have amfa but then I look at my own union and the IAM is standing down. Stalling is what that is. Sure the company is as well because that is the exact sorta thing I would expect if a union is standing down and not supporting our Association.

At any rate, nobody can stop you guys from standing down but that's my views and I think my views are backed up with your inactions. Prove me wrong, I'd really love that! But you guys aren't fighting. You are stalling. I don't have to hear you say it, I know by your inactions. Sorry CB, I really am.

I'm going to get you guys to picket soon. very soon.
