The company clearly rattled the union today with a roar. I still believe the intended audience was strictly mx, not fleet.
And the company made sure to bust on the twu convention. Although there most likely is truth to the convention, i suspect that shot against the twu was due to the awesome picketing and awesome solidarity that the twu has continued to build. Ive never seen any solidarity from iam. They create enemies and keep them. The teamsters had good solidarity prior to the iam bosses.

Question pension(wize) is AA going to wind up putting more money towards the LAA indivual workers plans then towards each IAMPF account? Not counting the billions the company is already putting into LAA underfunded pensions.

Mx is stuck in july. We arent. Therefore the union boss has to reduce to our lowest common denominator so he has to go back to July in the midst of media coverage of picketing. But yes, things are basically wrapped up for fleet. Unfortunately, im stuck in the iampf. Although i wish the july retirement proposal wasnt whacked. Things are shelved until mx plays catchup.
