JCBA Negotiations and updates for AA Fleet

Been saying it for months and months, the Association needs to be more forthright with the current state of negotiations in order to continuously set the proper expectations for the Members.

Without that, we will always be susceptible to rumors or someone's slanted view of the current events. When the time comes, the reaction to a TA'd JCBA will be negative because the expectations will not synchronize with the reality.

So you are saying that their letter showed clarity, nothing was hidden. In listening to Dale Danker, he explained some of where AA was misleading the members, true facts with numbers. I think you know what I'm saying CB, but I do get the IAM and TWU view and interpret things differently.

Not saying it showed clarity. Ex: leading industry. This company is making billions but yet they admit they are wanting to eliminate work in the letter. That is just one issue that imo should piss everyone off. My point was there should be enough said in that letter that tells the membership just what they think of us. Enough to tell them to go pound sand.

If you are honest there is NO reason to worry about posting on a public forum. Now that the company has put out the letter about their offer. Why haven't the union put out the full offer for ALL of us to see.

I know CB, I do receive your updates and I have talked to you once on your cell. I do appreciate you being available to answer any concerns we/I may have, that is most definitely appreciated. I guess my concern is not you, but the NC and their updates in general. By you and Prez being the only two coming on here in public to give what you can, I guess it's only expected you two would get the wrath directed toward the whole Association. I do wish the TWU had someone who would do that. I guess the two who come close and seem a bit in the know are W and NYer (go figure, two best friends) lol...anyway, thanks CB for being available.

Yes we have called them out on it. The company counts on people not being educated on the facts. Just like the letter states that they offered additional pay to keep us at the top of the industry. What they are not telling you is that is for 1 year. After that we drop below UA, and who knows about DL since they are non union and can give increases anytime.

Time to take the gloves off. The Company is going to spills their beans so should you guys as well.

What causes " decide and conquer" is not letting the members see or know what is on the table. There is no reason to keep this from us. Unless someone has there own agenda..
