Update

Fleet is ready to enter the final stage of negotiations and are awaiting MX to catch up. When MX catches up, we will use 30,000 members to fight for the best contract in the industry.

so i walked the picket line for 3 hours in dallas and like an asshole thought of going to mia to do it again, after this update **** that. so the maintenance committee sat out the second week of negotiations in July and skipped the first one in August. **** you do it yourself

Have to agree with you. I would not ask Maintenance to wait for us. If they finished before Fleet they should vote. We should not wait for them. There are thousands of us in both groups. This is the wrong decision. Bad. I suggest everyone go to their Local Meetings and express their frustration.

sounds close then. N ot in a hurry anyway, don't want chit to do with the iampf disaster, and definitely not interested in funding your officer pension.

Tough luck bro. We're going to wait for our Brothers and Sisters whether you like it or not.

Next?

Like I said I suggest everyone express their frustration at the membership meetings.

Not exactly a State secret that the Maintenance Presidents stuck by us in Negotiations. So now you think we should give them the middle finger?

Have fun with your frustrations.

So we meet again next week, concentrate on the mechanics side of the JCBA, and then take a month off to regroup.
As a matter of fact, I don't even think we have any more sessions set up, do we? I would think the window is shrinking very quickly if we are hopping to keep it from 2018 and beyond.

Don't ask me man. I'm done with picking "football pool" boxes. Damn frankly can't wait till this crap is done anyway. My frustration is more towards others than either Union or the Company to boot.

Do you want me to tell you how all this could have been prevented...oh, never mind. 🙂

Prevented no, shortened maybe. And my Mother used to harp on things all the time and it was her absolute worst attribute. Seriously.

I have noticed I work with many people who remind me of my Mother and that bad quality she had.

"Life deals you Lemons, you make Lemonade" (Or you protest and annoy your Company)

That's not going to go over well because of the rising frustrations and bland updates.

Did you pass on the "Life deals you Lemons" quote to her, and how did that go over?
Seriously, shortened is probably more accurate...at least you didn't say "stop making mountains out of molehills".

Thx Weez but this update is exactly the kind of thing that's drives us nuts on our side of things. It serves to deepen the divide between mechanics and fleet.
