And I'm sure the Company would like us to work for minimum wage and be happy about it too right.

And Management concerns or issues is not something we should just easily or readily oblige to should we?

Some on here do (seriously) sound like they work for Management more than being in a Union. (Again I'm DEAD serious) I'm not really comfortable with that line of thinking.
Couldn't care less if you disagree with the court of popular opinion. I said all along, LUS will enroll for next years healthcare right beside us, and it will be the same for everyone. I also said LUS would suffer on scope, you and Timmy can pound on the table as much as you want, but at the end of the day this will come to pass, despite your quezzyness.

P.S. about 6 months ago, someone I know and trust mentioned to me that JetNet told all LUS employees that 2017 would be the last year they would get health insurance at a discount. I tried to look for this, but I have no reason to not believe what I was told.

It's just absolutely mind boggling why anyone in the TWU whether in Negotiations or not, would not advocate for and support paying a little less for Medical than they do now?

Especially if it's someone who has a Wife and kids.

Do you people floating around out there enjoy paying what you do in Monthly Premiums and Deductibles?

It's like you don't even want to try. Like an overwhipped Dog you seem broken? "It's what the Company wants"

Way too freakin weird to me.

Too late for that , if any agreement comes to bare they will have another year of their healthcare.

It's August now Bob. I highly doubt this will be concluded before benefits enrollment. First they have to reach a TA, then read it over, then go out and explain it and then it has to be voted on.

Nah IMO time has run out on that.

I know. But hey thank God they didn't put my dopey Local President in there or right now I'd be making $4.00 an hour less because he's so Chicken Chit the sky is going to fall about everything.

Well at least according to him they kept him away from the Negotiations. Load of Hog Wash if you ask me.

Bob you're not thinking of marrying one of those stripper friends of yours so she can get medical benefits are you?

It'll be fun watching you trying to defend the OT article in MIA if they adopt the IAM language, as expected.

Which shouldn't happen because the dopey MIA President isn't there. Phew!

Incredibly hard to believe you don't know what has been (agreed to) TA'd already? You know what it is. AND there would have been nothing you could have done about it anyway IMO.

Again though something you obviously didn't think about when you wholeheartedly agreed with the Association formation. (Can't have your cake and eat it too man)

My new standard line to you is going to go something like this.

"What did you "think" was going to happen"

You didn't foresee this? Seriously?

Your bromance really doesn't allow you to have a conversation about anything other than me.

My fault, I keep thinking you'll stay on topic. Should know better by now.

Won't happen again.

I actually wouldn't have a problem if "rocking chair money" was replaced with you actually had to work the hours to get paid. I would have a HUGE problem if the TWU gave in agreeing to allowing all part timers to be held (either forced or offered) before full timers were proffered OT.

The Comprehensive Proposal will assuredly have things the Company knows they will not get and may not be a priority for them, such as the Medical has been. It is a low starting point in order to re-juggle the priorities of the negotiations.

What are the true priorities of the company in negotiations? Your opinion is as good as others.

What does this mean? Again seriously? This is weird.

I'll try again. Neither you nor my MIA President would have had any influence on the ultimate decision. Both he and you are not the ultimate A personalities that would dominate the room as maybe you both think. And I also think both of you would have been extremely frustrated had either of you been involved since you wouldn't have gotten your ways on many things.

When the Association was agreed to by the NMB you had to expect or understand that there would be compromises in the JCBA talks. Some unfortunately that both sides would not exactly jump for joy over.

Cest La Vie.
