Videos are now posted on Jetnet if anyone wants to watch Doug explain the contract.

We may be the ones who are not being fair about their medical? Yes costs can be given in other areas to make up for the increases BUT the IAM side could take the loss personally.

Remember they fought very hard to keep it through BK and even to their standalone CBA.

Maybe at least here on Forums we shouldn't be so dismissive about it?

WeAAs,
It's not so much being dismissive.
Lets unpack this a bit more for those that are confused.

Every Union on the property has "me too" clauses on Health insurance.
Does anyone think Parker is going to give every other work group at AA LUS health insurance?

Because that is what he'd have to do for the LUS ground workers to keep it.
Again folks, intellectual honesty.

the whole medical thing is interference about the broken pension. that is all. but, if regan can organize all works groups, and aa management as well, of course we are all ears. Get the whole company, leading medical. Now, back to making the 401k contribution, and scope the most important issue. Make the iam crap f, optionable.

That is incorrect. All unions do not have a me too. Whatever the case, thats betwden parker and other groups and it makes lus that much more valuable. But if twu peeps are saying its only a couple nickles better then parker should be able to get a few rolls of quarters for everyone else.

See yall in section 6.

Traymark can you provide me that contract language that specifies this supposed "me too" for Medical in the current APA, APFA and CWA/IBT contracts.

Not saying you're incorrect BUT I've never heard this one before so I'd really like to read it? I love reading Contract language.

Ok Tim, section 6...if that's the case so be it. You seem to be using it as a threat or scare tactic. It's part of our industry and been through it before. I received a decent bump in pay to hold me over. The world is not ending.

Tim can't threaten anyone. He really does need a ladder to get on a horse and boxes on his shoes to reach the gas pedal driving.

Someone wrote on Facebook that the IAM CLT Membership was made very well aware of the TWU DFW picket.

That would be Charlie Brown who made them aware.

Isn't it about the same time we found out ? What kind of organization(association) doesn't communicate "the right hand doesn't know......" Embarrassing but you don't see it that way

You see Tim as a lawn ornament but the unions see him as a major pain in the ass. How tall do you have to be to yell fire in a movie theater . He does have a lot of ears listening

Update

1. Fleet Service NC gets along just fine and I believe we are mostly on the same page.
2. I'm happy that the picket in DFW had a good turnout.
3. Don't think anyone is thinking Section 6 quite yet. Possibility if the Company doesn't get their shite together.
4. LUS insurance is quite a bit better than LAA insurance.
5. We all need to let the Company know that the best CBA in the industry is the only option any of us will consider.
6. I disagree that the NMB will pressure anyone to put out a shite CBA.
7. I found out about the picket on Airline forums, PERIOD.

Its not preferred by me and i hope nobody else but the twu will experience great pain as your Local Presidents will be personally responsible for losing 4 more stations. Sad.

I'm waiting for a leaked copy of the company's comprehensive proposal.

Fair enuf Prez, ill go back to pounding sito and lack of unity and the pension. There should have been a letter. Especially since you claim everyone gets along. Who cares where you heard about the picket...you had 4 weeks to grow a set and get a basic letter of support. Even amfa sent one. Wake up!
