That is incorrect. All unions do not have a me too. Whatever the case, thats betwden parker and other groups and it makes lus that much more valuable. But if twu peeps are saying its only a couple nickles better then parker should be able to get a few rolls of quarters for everyone else.

See yall in section 6.
While you threaten section 6 , I'll dust off the old sign up card, let's see who crosses the finish line first?

The twu is permitted to do that as the association is not chartered by the aflcio.
It would be an interesting play by the twu. They would win for sure but at the cost of 4 stations and another 6 months.

Fair enuf Prez, ill go back to pounding sito and lack of unity and the pension. There should have been a letter. Especially since you claim everyone gets along. Who cares where you heard about the picket...you had 4 weeks to grow a set and get a basic letter of support. Even amfa sent one. Wake up!

Tim,

We all need to be on the same page, we are lacking in our communication and solidarity at this point. That doesn't mean we can't correct it. I am speaking my opinion, can't speak for MX or anybody else.

Leaks? Where is kellyann conway when you need her?

Timorous where is your Wikileak? Don't tell me that you're stammering around in the dark with a bad fly swatter catching bugs in your teeth instead?

Where is your Eye Spy, How now brown Cow?

What i posted is true. I could care less if you believe it. I swing at all the clowns. This association is dysfunctional.i still believe prez folds after re-enrollment and that you slide into home safe with a ta but i dont have a crystal ball like you. But our members truly dont want prez to concede health care and ill point it out in clt phx and phl when he does.

im throwing the bullshit flag, found out about the picket here? get the **** outta here. maybe if you clowns met more then 6 days a month you would know whats going on.

Update Insurance

LUS 80 FT PT Deductible Out of pocket Max
You only $29.99 $59.98 $450 Ind./$900 Fam. $3000 Ind./$6000 Fam
You&spouse $59.98 $119.96 includes deductible
You&child(ren) $58.38 $116.76
You&family $101.41 $202.82

LAA standard FT/PT Deductible Out of pocket Max
You only $92.33 $850 Ind./$2550 Fam. $2000 Ind./$5000Fam
You&spouse $240.06 does NOT include deductible
You&child(ren) $166.20 which makes $2850 Ind./$7550 Fam
You&family $323.16

Just to have insurance:

The difference for you only $.36/hr.FT $.30/hr.PT(5 hr. shift)
The difference for you&spouse $1.04/hr.FT $1.11/hr.PT (5 hr. shift)
The difference for you&child(ren) $.62/hr.FT $.46/hr.PT (5 hr. shift)
The difference for you&family $1.28/hr.FT $1.11/hr.PT (5 hr. shift)

As you can see, LAA is more expensive than LUS for both our FT and PT. The deductible is higher for LAA and out of pocket max $150 less for individual but $1550 higher for family. Hope this helps to understand the insurance difference.

the only solidarity we are missing is the IAM. screw you and your plausible deniability.

What is true Tim? What's going on? Again I'm asking YOU what did the Company propose? Let's see you put it down in writing and check out your progress later? The last time you did this was on your LUS Standalone TA and you were wrong about the entire kit and kaboodle.

And I also remember you slamming Rez on here before the truth came out and then you were applauding the guy and now (for some reason) you're back to slamming the guy again?

Why am I getting a Deja Vu feeling here Timorous?

Just what do you mean "at the cost of 4 stations" ?

Someone wrote on Facebook that the IAM CLT Membership was made very well aware of the TWU DFW picket.

That would be Charlie Brown who made them aware.
I can tell you it was widely talked about it the break rooms

Yes. Remember Al most of the contract has been TA'd already. The BIGGEST part left was/is jobs/scope. That's the biggest part no matter what people might think otherwise.
Giving up pay and benefits to retain headcount has been a losing strategy for years.

Send a message to the Association you don't give a damn about headcount you want the money then maybe you will actually start to see progress.

You are never going to get anywhere if you don't show them (AA/ASS.) you are willing to go the distance to get what you want.

P. Rez,
You forgot to mention the OOP max for LAA is $1000 less for individual + kids.
But the rest of your numbers are helpful.
It is clear the difference is much less if it's just you or just you and kids than if you have a spouse too.

Thanks for finding all the info, we needed it out there. For me it's not a huge difference, but it is a difference and after 4 years of massive profits, the company should compensate that difference in the contract if they will move everyone to the plan the entire rest of the company is on.

Also, I'd love to see how they are going to compensate all the LAA for disparity in Holidays. Holiday pay, overtime, vacations, sick days which are all vastly different than LUS currently.
Or will the company say, well LUS, you've enjoyed the slightly cheaper insurance for entirety of the merger while LAA, you've lived with a disparity in all those other benefits for a little over a year now~
even everything out and call it even? Not sure, just thinking out loud how they might try to resolve it.

Update

1. Fleet Service NC gets along just fine and I believe we are mostly on the same page.
2. I'm happy that the picket in DFW had a good turnout.
3. Don't think anyone is thinking Section 6 quite yet. Possibility if the Company doesn't get their shite together.
4. LUS insurance is quite a bit better than LAA insurance.
5. We all need to let the Company know that the best CBA in the industry is the only option any of us will consider.
6. I disagree that the NMB will pressure anyone to put out a shite CBA.
7. I found out about the picket on Airline forums, PERIOD.

P. Rez
I'm sure the people on the NC try their best to mesh together as a group but it is a unions responsibility to work for their members and it seems we may have 2 different agendas going on. The Association should do the deal based on the other carriers pay, benefits and scope. In my experiance at DFW people have very little knowledge of the details of the 2 contracts but only want an industry best deal, however it gets put together. Also, if the LUS people really were not informed of the picket at DFW then that is not acceptable and shows the members of both unions the lack of unity. Very unfortunate if so.
