JCBA Negotiations and updates for AA Fleet

It is interesting how the IAM treatment of PTers is an issue and it seems some believe that parity in the treatment of FTers and PTers is the right thing to do.

Would that be the same sentiment when it comes to a PTer getting extended extra hours before a FTer?

And although the IAM pension has issues, the TWU also gave the IAM its word that it would prioritize the IAMNPF

There's the quote.
They did say they would make it available to all.
They can't make us take it.
I'm very confident a TA forcing us in it would fail on the M&R side.

It wouldn't matter to me. But I'm not the right guy to ask since I'm pretty strict on doing my 40 per week and that's it.

Can't even stand Mando to tell the truth.

And just because the Leaders in the TWU and IAM at the time signed that legal agreement it most certainly doesn't mean the Company is under any obligation.

They don't even have to offer it to IAM members actually since this is Negotiations.

I think the issues come out more in the deductibles that people are concerned with? The "OMG what if something's happens to me or my family" effect. What if?

And Tim made some comment about the IAMPF a few pages back that I'm still waiting for him to respond to? (I think the boy knows somethin about them thar negotiations he's playin hush hush on?)

If Tim knows anything about this, I wish he would share. I think I would much prefer an enhanced 401k to another pension at this point. Tim, what do you know?

so lemme get this straight. marginally better healthcare cost, but a broken pension, shittier work rules, an insufferable response time on grievance procedures, more part-time. things for the twu are sure looking up. Good job Tim.

How bout this. Save cargo, save chitter truck. allow a 35 percent cap on p/t. buy outs on time of service and up to 4 years of retiree medical. Knife catering. allow iam to keep their medical Now, to all twu members 4.5 percent contribution to 401k, add another 3.5 percent for members with over 25 years. Keep all current iam people in the iampf. Let all members who are over 45 decide which retirement plan they want, except iam members with over 25 years. I'll say a prayer for them. ..

the iampf is anti labor, as it created this ass monster, and is so wrong on so many levels, and will not pass due diligence.. F you Sito and iampf, doesn't pass due diligence, just remember that as Nelson has given all members the road map for all future lawsuits.

and the lawsuits begin against the company and unions from day 1 of signing, then multiply first cut.

as far as the deductibles are concerned, and as mentioned earlier, once the spouse is on costs go up, so that being said, its fine cost go up, since that mean a family is on its way, for most. Medical should do something for the deductibles for pregnancy.

Tat was good , real good! But it was fake news other than the iamnpf situation.

Btw, if the difference between our medicals is only a dime then please do 2 things.
1. Ask parker to stop fussing about2 nickels.
2. Say hello to the Easter Bunny for me.

Please stop talking to yourself. It's funny sometimes and annoying at other times.

The moral of the story is divorce has it's silver linings, just kidding.
I would assume the rate increases proportionally with a spouse on both the LUS and LAA plans.
I had been wondering what the real numbers were and when Tim posted what his costs were, it just happen to match what kind of plan I had with LAA, so it was a very good comparison.
At the end of the day, 14 cents per hour difference.
The argument about health insurance being a deal breaker loses a lot of steam when put in proper perspective.

I'm not throwing down over that.
I will fight for an industry leading 401K v the IAMPF, much more money and control of money at stake there.
Stop using Teamster math.

Why does there have to be a price? What is wrong with you TWU brothers, dont you understand that this isnt a cost neutral situation??? For the love of God, wake the F up dammit!

You guys see devils behind every bush! Cripes! What the hell are you guys picketing for if you are going to pay for whatever you are asking for?

Wake up!

I’ll say this the iam seems imho to be to quiet . If they would come out and let us know what’s going on. If they would over brochures to the twu members.on there health care . Then we would know . But to me all sito cares about is screwing us twu members to the iampf . I would like the iam medical. But aa Medical is not a show stopper for me I had cancer removed was in hospital 6 weeks straight they paid everything. That bill was over half a billion I had 4 surgeries. Plus a wound vac and Was fed by iv for 6 weeks. I herd non aa people complain more about there insurance. Yes ours is more out of pocket but when I needed it paid. And to me that’s what counts. Now if sito would cooperate with us twu members and fill us in then maybe we could get more up on it to fight. Even prez and cb seem to just want to tell us how good the iampf are. That right there for me is a no go. And I know that aa insurance covered everything I needed how can I be sure if I had that with the iam medical I could count on it. The iam-0 for no information on insurance twu+1 for picketing
