Brothers and Sisters,

The Executive Negotiating Committee met with American Airlines the week of July 17th, in Washington D.C. On the afternoon of July 19th, American Airlines presented their initial proposal covering the remaining articles to your Executive Committee. Upon initial review, the company’s proposal is inadequate and falls far short in providing the contract you deserve. After a year and a half of negotiations with the Company, we are extremely disappointed.

Your negotiating committees have begun the process of evaluating this proposal and remain fully committed to delivering the best contract in the industry on American Airlines.

Negotiations are scheduled to resume on the following weeks: July 24th, August 14th and August 28th.

Fraternally,

Fleet Negotiating Committee:

So where are the details of what actually took place in those negotiations?

You're new here, apparently.

BTW, If the proposal was subpar, bravo for our NC to throw it back in their faces.

Now they need to insist they stay at the table,
Until
This
Is
Done.

Parker needs to be hammered next week repeatedly at his big show about how much money he'll be banking.

I too failed to receive page two of the Association update. You know, the one that shows the garbage that AA offered. And while your comment is appreciated and gives a feel how bad it is P.REZ, being transparent and letting the members see just how bad the company is spitting in our face would go a long way in rallying the troops and getting them behind you. That is what the Association has been asking for. You have the power/tools to get them 100% behind you, imagine how many more people you could have on that picket line if you used ALL your tools...be transparent and bring out the unity and anger in your members.

no shocker no surprise this is very typical of the mgmt. team that pulled stunts like this at HP and US

Explain to us how negotiating at a table will change a company position if the union is unresponsive outside the room.

After the iam negligence refusing to officially offer support for us like the twu has, this is exactly what i said would happen. Its the exact sorta thing we should expect when sito insist on refusing to support us. Sorry.

Then why do you think the Association is a good thing...this IS the by product of the Association...two different pages being read.
