JCBA Negotiations and updates for AA Fleet

Why would we give a rat's backside about BA anyways? I mean really.

As Tim said what if the a$$ pushes for a UA/ZW or AS/McGee type set-up where a low cost low wage no work rule unit is established and assumes mainline work?

Josh

True but Envoy isn't near the level of a McGee/DGS/United Ground Service type outfit. Envoy is circling the drain and getting out of ground handling. DL has a history of starting and shutting down different units when costs get too high.

Josh

WeAA if management sends you to E Concourse to handle BA and take someone else's job would you oblige? Would you use the 700 justification and say doing otherwise would constitute insubordination like he rationalized IAM scabbing AMFA by performing start ups, receipt and dispatch?

Josh

the rumor that aa would handle BA operations in ord has existed for 20+ years. it won't happen due to gate space..but if it did, we'd be taking over for a motley crew of ground handlers called 'gsi', formerly, hudson general.

gsi is a company that 'borrows' aa equipment for it's overnight operations...forgetting to tell or pay aa for using the equipment. gsi has employees that make $12 per/hr and with open tractors, they like to use aa tractors with curtains in the winter time.

we have since decided to lock up as much equipment as we can. this is the garbage that permeates all major airports in the usa.

if weeasles takes anyone's job, it's the job of a non-union fly by night company.

The IAMPF conversation has become very boring now.

Next?

Straight out of the snowflake playbook:
When you get your arse handed to you over and over again and have no answer, call the argument "boring".

I will consider that total and complete capitulation to the abject failure of the IAMPF.
Thank you for playing.

When you get a real Crystal Ball can you give me some good Powerball numbers?

Yes. Very boring now.

In MIA this is the group you'd be talking about. And I would happily and gladly take OUR jobs back from them without even a minutes notice.

WeAA didn't you help a young guy there who you said annoyed you initially and is now an Envoy TWU FSC?

How was BA work ever in your scope? Remember when you handled Alaska? Was that also in your scope?

You're a smart guy WeAA but BA work isn't your scope.

When did I say anything about BA being my work? And the kid actually works with us now. I'd like every job we ever did before back. That's a laundry list.

Now of course any work we might get back will generate jobs. The "people" they'll hire to add to the increase will come most likely directly from Eulen, Swissport and Envoy.

I've NEVER been against "people" just looking to work. It's not their fault Companies F them.

Yea, the iamnpf is the most important tpoic. Not sure why anyone thinks its worth more evergy to continually get stuck in personal squabbles with NYer who seems to be much more knowledgable of the situation. In fairness to weas, his brain gets a little mushy from listening to sitos jestures.
