Just got a text from the great magnificent wealth of information 700UW. Told me it was the FA's.

I really miss my old buddy on here whacking around those poor misinformed souls.
We are more closely aligned with customer service than the FA's so we(I) won't be getting a check, At least he answers your texts

Don't know if there will be any type of "bonus" giving LUS compensation for higher rates considering customer service didn't receive one

They didn't get a bonus, but they received a "we'll keep talking about this card."

That won't work. If they want the change they will most probably have to pay for it. Hence, a bonus of some kind.

Guess that's why you have taken up his cause, at least that is what some think

With all the money AA will be putting in AA's pension funds in the future all LUS should get a 10 million dollar bonus

Wow you really think pretty low of yourself don't you. That's pretty sad man.

Well that's not my problem. Maybe you listen to those Mechanics over there more than I thought?

Bag smasher.

Not our problem that some poor schmucks didn't organize earlier and maybe could have held on to their Pensions a little longer.

Won't win any battles if you pick up your weapons after the fights already over.

Our UNIONS and the PBGC Director fought for our Pensions to not be thrown on the Government.

All you guys could do at that time was bend over and say "Please Sir can I have another"

Tough luck for you on that one buddy.

Hey Al. Your Pilots were Unionized weren't they?

"The ruling, issued late Monday, means that some -- though by no means all -- US Airways pilots will recover more of the benefits that they lost when their pension plan failed in March and was taken over by the government. The airline's other unsecured creditors, which are already receiving pennies on the dollar for their debts, will now receive even less."

Pretty much

Only if you (collectively) allow it...
I'd rather do things the LUS way then have them coming to me in a couple of years and asking for a pay cut. Coming from DL you would be just amazed at what they got going and the nerve they have to complain

The latest I'm hearing is the IAM is in fact wanting to force our frozen Pension monies into the IAMPF.

Maybe ole Charlie and P Rez can comment?

Here BTW let's go back to this one for the umpteenth time.

"Q: Does American Airlines want to merge the AA frozen pension plan into the IAM National Pension Fund (IAMNPF)?

A: Discussions about merging AA’s frozen pension plan into the IAMNPF have not occurred.

The IAM has never merged an airline industry pension plan into the IAMNPF.

In fact, when Northwest Airlines, United Airlines and US Airways either froze or terminated their employer-sponsored, defined-benefit pension plans, the IAM did not merge these frozen and terminated plans into the IAMNPF. They remained administered by either the company or the PBGC, resulting in IAM members receiving two pension checks in retirement – one from the IAMNPF and one from their previous employer-sponsored plan."

Didn't the LUS way still get you two runs through the door of Federal Bankruptcy Court as I recall?

Maybe we better figure out the best way for the New AA to do things instead IMO.
