When you can with me I'll give you the same level of courtesy. 100%

We'll agree on some things but we will also disagree on many others.

Let me know when you think you can handle it?

NYer if this is not out of line or bounds for you. I wanted to ask you who you would support for TWU International President if given the choice between these two individuals?

John Samuelson or
Joseph Campbell?

Just personally curious?

Hey, Mr. Whack-a-Mole, if you're nice to me I'll be nice to you. SMHS.

I guess we'll find out when you do your Facebook dump. You know, those emails and pictures you purport to have.

Disagree Albert...this is a complicated process and the merging of two sets of CBA's isn't easy. They could certainly share more information that would help the Members understand the challenges they face.

An example. They talked about Hours of Work in several updates. What they didn't share, that might help to show the difficulties and differences in each CBA is the fact that the TWU CBA has a couple of paragraphs in that article but that's not the case for the IAM CBA. The IAM CBA, Hours of Work takes up about 8 pages and includes language our CBA has in at least 2 or 3 other Articles.

That paints a different picture as to why it might take more that a couple of weeks to TA an Article that we might see as only being two paragraphs.

Those details are lacking and is part of the reason the frustration level is so high.

Almost 2 years ago both the TWU and IAM negotiators got together over a period of a few months and went through each article and put together language from both contracts. Let me tell you, that was taxing to say the least. Once we went through this process, we put together the list of the top priorities for each article and gave to the company and this was also made available to the members.

Once negotiations started, a couple of articles were passed by each side and the real work began. The articles both sides thought would be easier to get TA'd were harder to TA than either side thought. However, we did get several TA's in the first 3-4 months. Once the first 15 Articles were TA'd, obviously, the tougher topics came up and it has been a struggle ever since. On most of the articles passed in the last year, we were miles apart from the first pass and the process bogged down. Many of these articles have been passed numerous times by both sides. We would blow through a whole week of negotiations on the passing of an article or two and putting it up on a screen, breaking down each point and hashing out the details. This included debate, research and clarification to work through. Unfortunately, this process takes a lot of time. I am willing to sit down with someone and go through each article that was passed and what some sticking points were along the way after a CBA is reached.

Another conversation taken over by the WeAAsles Bromance.

My apologies to everyone.

It would be great if the updates included information such as this, rather than the bare minimum released now. Even if their void of details, but includes descriptions like shared here it would go a long way to give a better representation of the challenges faced.

Always playing it as crafty as possible aren't you? Very Political of you.

What's the big deal in answering a simple question who you think would make a better President? Oh and as a member of TWU Local 568 do I have any right to know who you (or your delegates) would prefer to lead us?

Would you even bother to provide your membership information if these two individuals wound up being candidates and let them decide who they might prefer?

No Dirty laundry but plenty of skeletons I'm sure oh and wouldn't want to put a infrared light on that bed spread you could probably stand that bad boy up

Nope that Down Comfortable is pure white as newly fallen snow. And I use Downy Fabric softener too.

Give it 3 days, I think you actually get stimulated fighting with NYer

You know what it does to me when you speak French Tish. Be careful that while you are "exposing " NYer you don't expose yourself. The folks on here would love to attack a vulnerable Weaasle

Does the company or the union mandate that all members of the union negotiating committee
sign a confidentiality agreement not to discuss specifics of the negotiations ?
