Snow stopped they are trying to get the runway clear to bring in a few flights. If there is a snow storm and they need you the next day they usually put you up. Don't forget the hotel rates here

The problem with negotiations is that nobody wants to meet in the middle, thus we have it drag on for a few years. Case in point, with "Temporary Employees" when did anyone hear having situation with this. But it's in a stand still.

Another problem is mgmt at AA has never had earnings like the past couple of years. And unlike the other airlines who went to their employees and gave better deals without having to, these guys nickel and dime us. The Association has had no answer to this and may have even contributed to it. With the other airlines trying to patch things up with their employees after years of sticking it to them, you would think this mgmt would also instead of blowing smoke up everybodys arse.

Didn't they just give us a raise outside of our Contract? Not for nothing but do we really forget things that fast?

Yea I'm thinking that it's my imagination on some things since your management team took over the joint?

I kind of recall I was only making $21.09 or something like that? I did have a Pension but I think someone froze it and gave me a 401k Match instead?

I think both of us have gotten some pretty sweet raises if I'm correct since 2012? You like 50% and me in the 40% + range. Here in MIA management were a bunch of royal PITA's. I haven't really seen them bother us in about a year now?

Parker gave me back a PS that everyone wanted I think? And I think he just gave us two free Airline tickets anywhere in the World that would be worth thousands depending on where you go?

Yup A completely different managing style. You are always going to run into a jerk but there are a bunch of jerks in our group too. It is going to take years to change. To be honest I never had a real (one that I would lose sleep over)problem with a manger.

It's taking a long time because both sides have items they "chose" not to back down on. Not making a condemnation of either side but as Bill Murray said back in Stripes.

Agreed. With all this money being spent at this station, I know there is alot they aren't telling the entire membership.
