CB so does that mean the actual raise doesn't go into effect until August 15? I read the company's post and it said immediately?

Thanks in advance. Starting my drive home.

And if you like Miller, then Miller it is. I'll stick with my Guinness.
I was told it was today.

They say immediately. What they mean by that is the first Monday of the next full pay period. That's how all LUS raises always go into effect. I believe for the LAA agents, that is this Monday. For the LUS it's the 15th because that's the first Monday of the next pay period.

We have as 8/15 but if we are wrong you get more. Will try to clarify. I have a topped out employee getting $5.78x 480 hours.
My bad, yes, 3x160 = 480x $5.78

I think the formula is as follows
24.09 x 1.24 = 29.87
29.87 - 24.09 = 5.78
5.78 x 520 ( 13 weeks ) = 3005.60

Bob we're going up to $30.17. That $29.87 is the UAL rate in November.

The raise is effective today.

Thanks Filter. The questions are flying all over the place. Trying to get people to take a chill pill until more details come out next week.

But this should get a chuckle? Was already asked by a guy today "When do we get the next raise after this?" I stared at him for a few seconds and walked away.

First part is correct. They will basically assume everyone will be working from Aug 15th - November 15th and pay a wage make up check at 40 hour a week. The second Check in January will be a look back of the same weeks and will pay all hours that was over the 40 a week. Ex: overtime, swaps, extra hours, holiday pay. Etc. The rate will vary based on what year of the pay scale you fall on.
Don't believe your timeline is accurate.

NYer, I think it differs for LAA and LUS. I was speaking for the LUS. We have always started first full Monday of the pay period after the affective date. This Would be the 15 th for LUS. And If your talking the 15 Nov? That could differ depending on when the company gets all switched over to the new work brain system. I wasn't trying to give exact dates, just an example of how to figure the formula. Hopefully can confirm all the unknowns tomorrow.

Referring to the lump sum timeline.

The effective date is supposed to be "immediately," or today.

Understand its effective today. Just on LUS we have language that says all pay raises start the first Monday of the first full pay period after the effective date. That would be the 15 th for the LUS.
