I believe OUR negotiators PERIOD!!!!!!!
Tell us something we dont know.

Better yet why dont you come clean and tell the truth about the twu wanting to cash in our promised profit sharing due to the shortcomings of screwing up timelines?
And you need to tell peeps that the twu AND iam are not unified on scope, health care, wages, pension and can not even put forth a proposal until they figure out which two headed idiot blinks over their ridiculous game of chicken.

The aflcio hosed us and in hindsight this association should have never happened. I was in error supporting it as i now see that this ridiculousness is negotiating against itself and is in friendly fire mode stealing our money.

Same old dog and pony show. Throw the damn proposals on the table and let Doug town hall that crap. Throw exactly what AA is offering for all members to see and let Doug explain (with billions in profits) to the whole company why he is still offering a sub par contract. Stop the damn accusations and just throw the crap on the table. When I said get tough, that means get tough. Call Parker out instead of whining to the members. I believe Parker is low balling when it comes to the meat and potato articles, and I agree with the refusal to accept them. But if your gonna let Parker go out in front of the whole company and your members and call you liars, where in the hell are your balls, Association. Show your members and the company what Parker or Glass offered and let him publicly explain it. He has already publicly called you guys liars...enough already!

The longer you guys refuse to challenge Parker and reveal specifics, the more and more it does smell of a disorganized crew. A fear many of us had from the beginning.

They are bs ing. Just stomping feet and talking like bas arses. Its a game to them.

The twu begged and pleaded for its members to picket for "drive for $15" but tells members negotiations arent bad enuf to informational picket american.

They cant have it both ways, if things have melted as bad as they said, then there should be demonstrations. If not then they should stop the bs. Either way, show us what the company is offering. Parker said on the video that he hasnt offered one concession. Both cant be right. Prove it!

Im tired of prez and his "guarantee" that he will deliver more than the CWA.
Over the past 8 weeks......nothing ta'd and we are still stuck over temp agents. Say whaaaaa?

Prez originally said things were goin great as he settled 20 articles and all 20 were enhancements. Well, maybe parker wants a couple scores as well when it comes to temp agents but the association is blocking all other negotiations to keep its no hitter goin. The members need to know.

I would say if Parker did split our holidays from LAA 5 and LUS 10 to a proposal of 7 or 8 it is indeed a concession. You guys just conceded two or three holidays...Again, why? This is the best the airline has ever done, has commented it has too much money and is showering our shareholders with stock buybacks. Where is your celebration, it ain't in the giving back of Holidays!

AANOTOK we only have 7 now, but they would have to explain why they propose 7or 8 and the CWA has 10

Exactly. And why didn't the Association, knowing the question would be asked about negotiations, have all of the negotiators at the State of the Airline, and as soon as Parker gave that bullshit answer, all of them head for the mics and refute him?

Ok WP, my bad. Agree, if the "rumor" (and very easy to clear up) is true and the company split our holidays AA 5 US 7 and proposed 6, that would both be troubling and a non starter in my eyes, still a concession. And yes, 10 for the other work groups?? Oh hell no!

Totally agree with your view here. They must call Parker out on this instead of sending us stuff in the mail complaining about the companies stalling during negotiations. Sure it is correct to turn down bad offers and terms, but after being insulted in public you need to step up and show the membership the truth about who is causing the problems. It would be a different story if Parker hadn't made them look like bone headed slugs. It would be nice to see some aggression shown towards the company.

We only have 7. But the non union laa peeps got everything enhanced. The reality is that the association is the only dipshiat that cant close the deal. The window of opportunity may have been missed.

Whatever the case, i hope prez and weasel understand that our members need to know. And they can both put down the kool aid cuz at this point, prez cant deliver half of what the non union peeps got. So we cant blame parker alone. Prez needs to remove himself from negotiations as he cant deliver and only offers guarantees and "called shots".

It is true. Not a rumor. The company split the holidays, even prior to today. Not sure why the association wont show peeps. The members wanna know.

As far as scope, you could be right. I said it in the past and I will say it again. Even though the US side are not in section 6 talks, this I understand from other posts, the US side will feel pain on scope. I observed some numbers being thrown around about staff minimums, and I didn't comment because, everyone has set their personal expectations very high. This is normal, but soon you will face the reality that a merger historically brings bad things. Namely small stations. The Us side has a number of them, and to this day no one has said how many after repeated request. Health care is a given, The US side bathed in that cheep ins for a long time. They will eventually be moved to our plan. To hold the expectation that the company is willing to give more, without costing our members anything is foolish. And finally the CS policy, which is now the shift swap. The goal of this is to flush out commuters, and hold everyone to a 80 hour pay period. The simplest way to control cost. And the company can decide when to offer OT.

Tim I wouldn't go and blame one person he did do a good job with our contract. I'm sure he is frustrated too and his hands are probably tied

How do you know this ?

A fly on the wall told me. One other thing, the twu and iam remain separate on the duration. One of them want 4 and one wants 5 years. This association is snapping at its own tail. Parker may have partial blame here but i think he is frustrated at the meltdown of the 2 organizations as well. You would too if you kept hearing..yes..i mean no..yes no.
One thing parker is right about is that they need to try another way. From what i heard, the big problem is actually the iam which doesnt mind stalling this to new negotiations with section 6. The problem is that we are looking at 3-5 more years with that mentality. Jetblue would even pass us. And we will be sure with each passing pay raise at united and delta that the weasel will take out his calculater and say that this is to our advantage. Hopefully we dont settle a ta when delta +3 means $35.
