JCBA Negotiations and updates for AA Fleet

While there is no doubt AA is seeking concessions and offering less to one work group than another, I strongly believe the Association is not being completely truthful. I do think they are having difficulties settling on issues that both unions want to keep, and I do think this is slowing down the process/progress. I think that's common sense. Our leaders remain mute when Parker is speaking loud and clear and I think our NC reps are only following script. I am no fan of the Association, I think it was to benefit both leaderships and no one else, but I was also willing to give them a chance. I must now say, I really do think we are in trouble, I don't think the combination has benefited us one iota, as a matter of fact, if you look at where we are, it has actually hurt (and continues to do so) both the IAM and TWU members.

This is not meant to be disrespectful to CB or PREZ, this is the calling out of the leadership. I do have a question for one or both of them though, was there a negotiating session the week of 7/11, and if so why was there no update??

And do you have any proof of this? Or are you just listening to the geniuses in the ready room?

I too am not a fan of this association, but at the end of the day, what is too be done about this? Nothing! This is what we have now and we HAVE to deal with it and adapt whether we like it or not.

The combines unions to date haven't produced any tangible benefit yet, the test will be our next contract.

I agree 100% with everything you said Bob. But that is no reason to not voice your concern...IMO!
As for your question, YES, I know for a fact that you have been told things that may not be exactly true or
a detail was omitted. Are they contract changers, probably not, but we will see in due time. Those things
I keep to myself, just like I make it a habit NOT to tell folks how I vote!

Fair enough.

What? They are not in negotiations because they are working on seniority issues? Who's fault is that? The company's? I'm done.
Actually, the two unions are at a crossroads. Iam wants less money but 8 flights a day scope ($2 less) but the twu is fine with $30 but 15 flights a day.

They need time to get their S together.

A couple things that are really important that the iam really could care less about over the years is lunches, mandatory overtime, overtime bypass, and suspension with pay. We really have to have some accountability language cuz our iam struck out on the union rule language. Hopefully, since they have only settled bulletin boards to shift differ, they can regather themselves and learn from their errors but judging by this disaster, they really dont care.

Weasel better not rip off my profit sharing cuz he claimed the 14 month delay would benefit our group.

What, the IAM is willing to negotiate for less money than Parker is offering in exchange for a IAM concession (less flights than what your contract currently calls for) I sure hope you are making that up or someone is giving you the wrong info...
If that's the case, get the damn IAM out of the mix!

I can't see how we could get less $ then UA. You say 15 flights how many do they have now? 14? On the LUS side there is no way we would go from 1 to 15

I sure hope CB and Prez can clarify that...Some of the mouths have been silent around here lately.

It sounds like a crock, what is your current scope?

I think we have 17 and if a station is closed (outsourced) we have to get it up to 20 to reopen.

You also claimed you would have 2 videos. I read the union rep and saw Parker video I don't know who to believe I met Parker he seemed nice and not at all condescending on the other hand the union reps were condescending the only time they are nice is when they want a vote or something then they are as George Thorogood said "real lovey dovey" I work for Parker the union works for me odd that they should act that way

I will say it again Tim, to claim the IAM is willing to accept a concession for less pay better be a rumor from left field and nothing more.
That sir is a serious allegation.

17 is bankruptcy throw that out. How many before bankruptcy?  I  look at 7 or 8 as being reasonable
