JCBA Negotiations and updates for AA Fleet

It clearly states the week of July 18th and then again on August 1st. Obviously there have been no updates today, so
maybe there was a side memo that changed the dates. Again, if true, a month without face to face bargaining.
. The seniority team met the weeks ok 07/04 and 07/18. The NC met the week of 07/11. There are REPS from TWU and IAM that are on BOTH committees.

I didn't see any Fleet updates the week of 7/11 but did see a M&R update. I don't think Fleet has met since the week of 6/27.
Again, just going by what I've seen published. I have no problem being corrected... B)

There was a MX update this past friday. It was a personal update from a mx negotiator. Basically saying the company was stalling.
 
I hate to rain on everyones parade, but i told you guys that the window was missed. So much for a ta by May, then July, then september, now december. 
 
If the iams tim klima didnt go bezeerk for his boy miller for 9 months, and if these knuckleheads put down the brewskies and reconciled the priorities in a week instead of 4 months, then we wouldnt have been 13 months behind. The weasel can complain about nyer all day, but weasel was wrong when he said the unfortunate delay was to our advantage. Sorry but its all talk as i dont have weasels $30.77 yet. Nyer said that differences should be put aside without any delay....and he was correct. 
 
If i dont get my profit sharing then im blaming the weasel and other pollyannas who incited these morons to think they were super heros .

If so someone needs to call him out on it, such as the unions he's negotiating with.You can't sit around and let yourself get kicked in the ass like that in front of your membership without responding right away. Parker's statement was direct blame on the Association for our distressed status. I would think the unions should be outraged by this. Total lack of respect if this was a lie.

. I didn't see an update either. But I know they were in negotiations that week. They also go 5 of the next 6 weeks. 07/25, 08/01, 08/08. Off 08/15. Back in 08/22 and 08/29

I haven't been keeping up with the negotiation schedule since they barely meet, but didn't the IAM persuade the Association to cancel the negotiations for fleet?
The claim that the union simply couldn't negotiate due to 4 of the negotiating committee members also serving on the seniority committee was just BS. Seniority actually is something that shouldn't hold up negotiations. Something is wrong and we have to find out what the hell is going on. This Associaiton is manifesting as a complete disaster. Hopefully, they clean themselves up and don't lose our profit sharing by not having a ratified contract by January 1.

The other LUS unions stepped aside for the larger LAA unions and their members have already had ratified contracts for many months now.

We're caught in a pissing contest between the IAM and the TWU because the IAM needs to get the LAA TWU people into their pension scam.Plus the IAM seems to think it is the numerically larger employee group and as such wants to do things their way or not at all.

This Association is an epic fuster cluck and we're going to get left holding the bag.

Partially correct.
 
The IAM has more money( = power), than the TWU. That is why they are insisting on making the TWU their *****.
Follow the money and you will find the answer to most things.
 
And Yes, you will be left holding the bag, and for a lot less money than the rest of the industry.

While there is no doubt AA is seeking concessions and offering less to one work group than another, I strongly believe the Association is not being completely truthful. I do think they are having difficulties settling on issues that both unions want to keep, and I do think this is slowing down the process/progress. I think that's common sense. Our leaders remain mute when Parker is speaking loud and clear and I think our NC reps are only following script. I am no fan of the Association, I think it was to benefit both leaderships and no one else, but I was also willing to give them a chance. I must now say, I really do think we are in trouble, I don't think the combination has benefited us one iota, as a matter of fact, if you look at where we are, it has actually hurt (and continues to do so) both the IAM and TWU members.
 
This is not meant to be disrespectful to CB or PREZ, this is the calling out of the leadership. I do have a question for one or both of them though, was there a negotiating session the week of 7/11, and if so why was there no update??

What is everyone so antsy for? You're all getting good money now, you're going to get a ulster from all this self-inflicted anxiety. In the last update, it was clear, we are more than half way done, and from what CB,Prez, have said, Late August, September that checkered flag will be a waving.
