Idk and was just asking,I mostly don’t want to see that DL +7 turned to DL+3 over that bs 2% profit sharing when DL is getting what 9%.?

10.2% this year. Next year will be even higher for them. And you just took the words right out of my mouth rat.

I'm not holding by breath by any means over the 4%. If it was folded into the raise we got then so be it, it just wasn't explained very well to the membership. Details always seem to be overlooked.

I’m not an expert on math honestly Steve. I’m rudimentarily proficient at it. But I really don’t think I would have wanted them to explain it to us as here’s a 20% raise and an extra 4% owed to you on top of it. 20% + 4% = 24%

We can agree to disagree. I personally would like a detailed breakdown of anything given to the membership. I'm sorry if it seems redundant but it also leaves no room for questions later. I like transparency, nothing left to the imagination. Might seem boring to most but listening to a room full of people speculating and bitching gets old.

Steve it’s not about agreeing or disagreeing it’s about trying to figure out how to explain it where people get it.

Parker stated early on 7%. He never said 7% + 4%. Or 11%. He said he wanted to pay us 7% above the top rate out there.

When Delta gave out raises that changed that dynamic of 7% above for AA contracted finished Employees the owe was 4% to bring it back to 7%.

We just started going loopy cause we heard 4% and we wanted it. Although the percentage was actually much higher than 4% at that time for us since we didn’t have the raises yet to go 7% above.

He actually short changed us by going 1% above UAL which was 24% from where we were.

(Now I’m exhausted)

It hard to deny they aren’t straight f*****g us on this profit sharing,Parker must be laughing his ass off.
What’s really bad is the number of people on Fb saying you should be grateful for it when folks complained about it dropping from 3.5 to 2%

Hey Racer your little birdies hear anything about “shift continuance/penalty hours”

One minute I hear chirp chirp chirp on it, then I hear the breeze, then I hear chirping, then it’s back to farts in the wind?
“ My Fly” said Since LAA has that language, the NC was looking to keep it or something similar to it.

We “used” to have Penalty Hour language but we lost that in 2003. The industry has “shift continuance” and similar language. (Language being UAL and SWA. And DL also does it)

You know rat if we had the same exact deal as Delta we’d still get less of a percentage than they did even if AA made the same amount of profit (They didn’t)

Delta has 80,000 Employees and AA has 130,000 Employees.

Another reason you’ve never seen me write that I wanted PS over direct pay. The FA’s (AFTER they had a contract) were the ones screaming they wanted it.

BTW when we sign a deal and agree with it you ain’t gonna here chit fook out of me if someone else (Delta) jumps over me with something.

F that. Show a little pride and class and live with what you agreed to. Other groups are B, Moaning and complaining too much and it’s making me puke honestly.

I agree I’d rather have higher hourly rate and no ps

I don’t find PS to be that much different then going to the Bodega to buy lottery tickets. Nothing personal seriously to wanting to see your Company perform well.

Now check out this little backpedal.

Rewind: United is rethinking its lottery plans, announced in the email below sent on Monday afternoon to employees by President Scott Kirby.
A message from Scott: We hear you. Changing our ops incentive program.

Dear United colleagues,

Since announcing our planned changes to the quarterly operations incentive program, we have listened carefully to the feedback and concerns you've expressed.

Our intention was to introduce a better, more exciting program, but we misjudged how these changes would be received by many of you.

So, we are pressing the pause button on these changes to review your feedback and consider the right way to move ahead. We will be reaching out to work groups across the company, and the changes we make will better reflect your feedback.

Appreciatively,
Scott

Personally having raffle drawings to give out prizes like I’m on some kind of game show hosted by Bob Barker makes me feel a little cheap and desperate honestly.

I’ll take your word on that WeAAs. I thought at one time the TWU had a “true penalty hour” where if you stayed over your shift for 10 mins you got paid an hour at the appljcable rate. Then the language changed to where you got paid at the applicable rate for time worked. ( not a true penalty hour)
