JCBA Negotiations and updates for AA Fleet

it was the old aa that out-sourced them. outsource this, outsource that, more eagle...create envoy...etc. that breed.

managers tell me lus kept BSO in-house and it's very likely the new aa will go in this direction. agreed, lots of hands-on dealing with the customer. out-sourced BSO people making in the $12/hr-$13/hr range right now.

.

All of what you said is correct and then some,

However CWA/IBT had major leverage with weak representation at the negotiating and bargaining table and signed a concessionary rushed contact

John John if current AA Management is bringing more work back in house, congratulations. I’ve suspected that eventually they would come to the rational that it’s the logical sensical business decision to make long term.

Others have yet to get themselves out of that concessionary mindset though.

Fleet has their own contract.

Are you that stupid?

Stock clerks at AA have their own CBA at US they were part of the mechanic class and craft, so that’s why they are part of negotiations.

After the HP/US merger they got their own R#, but still remain on the M&R CBA, and the Association decided to keep them on the M&R CBA.

Stick to things you know, and stay on your union on Negotiations, oh wait, you don’t have any after five years of failure.

Anyone wonder why a WM AMT, worries so much about Fleet at AA?

And why he sticks his nose where it doesn’t belong?

And he does the same to the mechanic thread.

Yet he feels he knows everything about our and your negotiations and yet he isn’t an AA employee.

The above lines are very familiar and sound just like frequent points by a former poster on here.

Josh

We will be changing that. All contracts will have negotiation team members who are exclusively under the contract they are negotiating. Nobody will be in charge of a contract negotiation if such person isnt under the particular contract.

Well that would be great. It would be a win for all members in each group as long as they are represented by someone IN their group, it only makes sense. Why have a "lead stock clerk" representing the mechanics? That's just plain stupid. Hope to see it get fixed Tim, good luck.

So much for eagles warning about personal attacks
Yea, I hear you. It was from Condor not eagle on the last one in this thread. Some folks get points for 6 months and they let these guys go on and on and on. Not always in the fairest interest...

They seem to only care if you curse while attacking with the big bad words. And now they will warn over the first 3 letters of your representation union the Association...

The reality is simple. Yes this is a Message Board and you can post wherever you care to. But you only come here for one purpose and that is to aggravate and inflame. You DO NOT work for AA, and you are NOT a Baggage Handler and have ZERO purpose for coming to this thread.

I only come to your thread on the SWA to give back as good as we get from you here.

Even on the AA Maintenance thread only one poster besides myself and Tom entertain your cockeyed comments and that person is not all that bright anyway.

YOU are causing the very behavior you claim to be against. YOU are the harrasing entity here.

"Taurus and my name is Al......float on

Good track.

deicers looking for OT...no snow yet.

None here, either. Let’s keep it that way!

as far as aa deicing...some passenger here filmed a deicer sleeping in his cab, posted it on youtube and the station manager here wasn't too happy. hmmm...8 hr shift plus 7 hrs OT..yeah, time for a nap. blame the hum of the type 2 motor.

AA uses Type II?

Quick question:

What is the “ask” (valuation) for ditching LUS’ healthcare?

Eliciting the same response as Gov. Walker’s collective bargaining reforms in WI?

Unions all over the country flew and bused people in, will they do the same for LUS IAM Medical?

Kev first you’re asking a question that if true how would we know the answer to that? There wouldn’t be anything I assume that could be directly pointed at to say “Here we’re giving you this in return”

Second I haven’t heard from anyone in any official capacity that the LUS Healthcare is gone?

I “hope” you’re not running with what Tim said? He was completely wrong on the LUS stand-alone Agreement which I didn’t forget. (I was here to see it for myself)

Why would I pound my TWU Local Tim? Everything’s pretty quiet around here. Have to assume they’re doing a decent job.

Off the clock job for the IAM pounding my Local? That’s weird. Why would the IAM pay me to do that?

Man you’re one weird Dude.

If it's on the table, then there should be a price tag attached to it.

And if there's a price tag attached to it, the membership should see that. We used to get an "itemized" break down of items.
