JCBA Negotiations and updates for AA Fleet

My opinion is that this should have happened at the very beginning. Will he be at the table for the mechanics? It just says he will be part of the International staff, nothing about representing the mechanics at the table.

I ask you the same, will he be representing the mechanics at the nego table? It would be great for the LAA mechs if this is true, other than that, I believe he was placed there to get the last mechanic hold out or restriction out of the way for a possible T/A to fly through the international. We will see...
I think he is good for mx. Likewise, we have nobody on the executive team on the lus fleet side. We have 2 mechanics. Thats wrong.

The august AIP was legit and i still believe its active. You will see. When mx settles, our contract will be wrapped up in 15 minutes. You had one of our negotiators claim we are far away and havent even started on all the "tough" issues. Ill bet you a beer that he doesnt know, and that they will settle all remaining issues in 15 minutes after mx. It wont mean that management has had an awakening. It means all was done in august....and it was.
As far as sito....im pretty sure we are going to whip their arse and get about 70% of the vote.

"When mx settles, our contract will be wrapped up in 15 minutes." At least someone out here gets it. Mx will not be settled by end of year as I have stated long time ago, while some out here think they will have an AIP by end of year, just because GP mentioned it. Not going to happen. Too much ask on the scope side from company, insurance will also be a huge stickler with mx, as well as the D+7% as promised by Parker, and of course "full restore" of all takes from the 2003 BK contract with no snap back clauses. With GP moving in maybe he can get it all done for the mx group, as he is the only one I have seen or heard screaming about the promised D+7%. The mechanics also have the big equity issue still hanging out there that will have to be discussed and agreed upon as well, there is a lot more to the mechanics side of talks than most fleet members actually know about. And yes scope has been discussed weez and Tom, their Aug. ask is too huge for an AIP by end of year. I really do hope GP get's it moving for the mechanics group and really hope for an ILC for you guys.
Good luck with the election vote Tim.

Don’t worry. Alex Garcia and Mike Mays are your Fleet guys and will take very good care of you.

This is not a Contest man.

I disagree with this as well. ALL groups should have someone representing them at the nego table that works directly in the group they are representing. This why I am so against these industrial unions with too many different groups within the same contracts. Fleet should have their own contract, stock clerks should have their own contract, mechanics should have their own union and contract. This way each group is fully represented and each individual contract can be all about each group they serve and not pitting one group against another or using the larger group against another group or favoring them just to get a contract to pass.
Your displeasure should be brought to the attention of the international officers and fixed. But this will be a problem since you have an industrial union they just WON'T work that way with the membersship like the craft and class unions do.

We will be changing that. All contracts will have negotiation team members who are exclusively under the contract they are negotiating. Nobody will be in charge of a contract negotiation if such person isnt under the particular contract.

Who’s we? Are you a part of a particular we? Have you been using the same we or we we for the last 20 years?

No it isnt a contest and alex doesnt have lus in mind. Sorry but lus is once again the only group which doesnt have a executive bargainer in there firsthand. Its because none of our guys have balls enuf to sacrifice and let sito know. At least GP stood up and secured a seat.

My team. We will be in, in april. Call a special convention to bring our constitution into this century. Baskett will be executive committee for lus unless they bring out the ta that eliminates our good health care and conclude negotiations.
