BOS has one (Tim H.)

Which other LAA stations have fleet local presidents?

Josh

In Fleet:

BOS, DFW, ORD, STL on NC

DCA, SFO, MIA, JFK/LGA not on NC

LAX had a President on NC but he's now on International Staff

Small stations LAS, MCO, SJU and TPA also nothing.

Why does STL get representation? TWA issues?

And we also have Steve M. for the LUS IAM side. BOS is well covered.

I was promised a position organizing strippers and bikini car wash girls up and down the East coast and maybe a little out in California if I’m successful. It is TWU though and thankfully I didn’t have to beg. IAM was only offering Houston and I informed them that you would be a much more qualified organizer for that area.

They hung up the phone though? Weird?
Not sure about the TWU but I know you have a deal with the IAM. And it wasn't a coincidence that you took over for 700 is what I was told as well. Hey, it's your business but I think NYer deserves a bit more respect instead of you trying to sabotage your local and basically moderate this forum into the dumpster. Who knows, you may be the next Lehive? Lehive does do good work even though he is a goof.

LAS is part of the LAX Local
SJU is part of the JFK Local
TPA is part of the MIA Local

STL was voted in by the other Local Presidents when the original Negotiating Committee was put together.

Why does a small station with 150 clerks need its own rep on the NC? I thought TWA matters would all defer to Kasher and the SLI

.
Their seniority was decided by Kasher. Everything else is governed by the CBA.

As to why they're on the NC all I can tell you is that they were selected by the other Presidents when the choice was left up to them.

Something is rotten in Denmark

In the beginning of the 12 pick MIA President at the time Tom Lee was not chosen along with NYC President Victor Gonzalez and ORD President Tim Marting.

As people dropped off or were elevated the President who replaces retiring President Tom Lee, President Sidney Jimenez eventually yes WAS asked (and declined) if he wanted to join the talks.

He declined more than likely due to both personal issues he has with people and the fact his participation in the talks would have been too late to matter anyway.

NYer will continue his spin anyway.

This is airline forums, and this thread is about Fleet Service Negotiations and Updates, what does this have to do with Boeing?

so whats your point?

Refute/challenge your point and justification that just because local (or in the case of Boeing district) presidents/leadership vote a certain way doesn’t necessarily mean that’s how things play out. Didn’t DL 751 decline voting the virtually identical “offer” from Boeing and then the grand lodge did an unprecedented vote over a plant shutdown and during vacation in early January 2014?

So because STL is on the NC does it stand to reason they won’t be contracting that station out? Doesn’t article 1C enable such a move in 09/2018 based on current LAA mainline flight activity?

Unless there are changes to the current TWU language by September 12, 2018, STL is one of the stations that could face closure for TWU work.
