Look's like the folks here that are trying to insert false information, spun half truths, and white little LIES... are getting hammered with FACTS.
Thanks to Weez, Watcher, Prez, and others, they are getting f-ing shut-down.. keep up the excellent work guys!

I’m at 22% now and I still have plenty of wiggle room.

I found this out the other day and posted it. The average 401k match is now 4.5% and even with it that low still 20% of the average workers don’t take full advantage. And all the Companies know those numbers.

Any union with members participating in a DC plan better be imploring members to take full advantage. They also need to be pushing for the max fixed contribution.

Watch and learn. It's coming, you just don't wanna admit it...

I agree with you 100% fruitcake. You certainly got it coming.

They will not take the fiscal responsibility of that on their shoulders. And I both agree and disagree with that position. Humans are very emotional little creatures.

Money, Religion and Politics are all touchy subjects to them.

Because many crusty geezers have been lingering around like wretched ghouls hoping the dangling carrot on the stick falls off so they can choke on it as it goes down.

if not now, then in a few years time...the new generation fsc will look at you and me as that crusty old geezer, just like you did in 1995.

there are already some orange vests that aren't happy about my opinion of everyone getting a $3k signing bonus.

Labor needs to stop looking the rear view mirror. ‘95, ‘03, SARS, BK- all of those are behind us. Has no one told labor leaders? Perspective is good; being handcuffed to it is not. Peace.

Please tell me where you are seeing any of our labor leaders not realizing that the past is in the past?

Did you watch any of the Peterson videos? Have you read any of the recent Association letters.

What happened in the past is why we’re demanding to be made whole now that they’ve reached the land of milk and honey.

we just had a poster tell me that aa could file for bk again.

in the near future? no way.

the shale oil revolution, pensions cut, % of labor outsourced....different conditions.
One major terrorist attack, oil crisis etc away.

What’s gonna happen if Rocketman and 45 escalate?

No one is safe from an economic downturn, the whole system is cyclical.

Lol, get your facts straight, 17 million.

At this unfortunate turn in negotiations, what I would like to see, and what I think the company should see is all the IAM/TWU negotiators at the next earnings meeting in Dallas, not just the Dallas folks. I think it would be helpful for our co-workers to see is a calm explanation of why the company deal is inadequate and why we deserve better. Having most of our other co-workers see the IAM and TWU together and a calm explanation of why we deserve and ILC would be helpful IMO. Any chance all of you will be there?

Crema in 2001 a JR FSC asked me what I thought of the TA we had. I told him that I thought it was great and I’m voting yes for it. But for him I said it sucked and he should vote no. Of course then 9/11 hit and the rest is history.

If I’m offered a buyout in at least another 10 to 13 years I expect to still give the same honest opinion to a kid then that I did in 2001.

Oh and BTW even if they took the damn thing out of any agreement they’re still going to offer the damn thing down the road anyway. They have to get rid of some of us high cost Medical users to really lower those labor costs (And bring down Medical expenditures too that should be passed on to us)

They should.

BTW, I’m not talking about dispensing specific investment advice; I’m simply speaking about encouraging member participation.

My lunch box is older than one of the guys on my gates.

Time flies.

I see it everywhere, in every sector. Only major Union is see looking forward is the AFA. If we don’t adapt, we die.

AA has $23 billion in debt and $9 billion in the bank.

Wall Street is not happy about that.

They spent $10.3 Billion to buyback 37% of AA stock since 2015 and not paying down debt.

Delta on the other hand is down to $7 billion in debt and about $7 billion cash on hand and a $2.5 billion unused credit line.

AA’s debt to 6.83 at the end of last year and Delta’s was .64.

Huge difference.

Nothing’s impossible of course. Magic 8 Ball right now says “Highly Unlikely”

But I could also find out over time that I enjoy cross dressing and walking around my swimming pool at night smoking cigarettes?

Doubtful again but who knows?
