From what I've been heard, grant you, all withing a small radius of my gatehouse, is the reaction and impression from the MIA town hall is that DP will not make any improvements on what they offered, period.

And I'm sure the weez will try to spin this. "we got them right were we want them boys"

In simplest terms, the twu is hosed. Myself and most iam really arent interested in a deal unless we hit gold. Obviously the company got what it wants in cross utilization and could care less in getting a deal unless they can get more jobs cut.
Weez claims that we will bring the company to its knees and that it's not able to gain any synergies from the merger. I'm not sure what he is smoking but things are "seamless" and very few synergies havent already been realized.

When the Association and weez use the term "fight" im curious what they mean since our group is cuffed for years. All we can do is hold our position and kick the can down the road, or give up lus health and lus catering. I'm thankful that Alex chose to kick the can down the road although it does nothing for laa. Las is not goin to get lus current insurance. Alex and weez know this but their intellectual dishonesty works to kick the can so i dont have a prob with Alex and weez.

if i'm an iam big-shooter with lus, i think these twu guys are nice f29king guys.[\QUOTE]

Particularly after the PHL Marriott incident! And the TWU stepped aside honorably and let the IAM collect dues.

bob how can those clowns say that when they know synergies are not where they want due to on going issues dp himself stated employees deserve better delta n even ua are doing better in areas but dp knows that and he just flat out does not give rats arse he says 1 things does another thing his actions speak louder than words

bob, do you think parker is lying to people and entities that matter; (investors, investment banks) when he says that -

aa will never lose money again

aa will earn on average $5 BILLION a year. $3 billion in a bad year, $7 billion in a good year.

i'm being told that fscs that post here undermine our negotiators, but parker doesn't totally undermine his negotiators??

Piedmont is not 700. Even you should be able to figure out the writing style is completely different.

He’s just a guy who obviously can’t stand you.
I think he meant "770"... that is what the final numbers were at least...
Besides, to him, everyone that it is not a BANKER... is 700!

That was 770 to 20 right? It’s just hard for me to remember cause those numbers are so insane.

70 to 20 would be a beating BUT 770 to 20, WOW!!!!!!!

well...then it can be argued that:

1) the twu didn't play their numerical advantage and make us vote for one union to represent.

2) the twu looked the other way in regards to iam keeping forms of seniority that twu members could not keep...knowing that there would be a conflict (no conflict for iam personnel) when seniority lists would get integrated.

3) the twu decided to adopt the iam strategy of tieing fleet and AMTs together.

if i'm an iam big-shooter with lus, i think these twu guys are nice f29king guys.

1. Higher numbers aren't a sole determinant to winning a vote as turnout can skew that advantage. Of course, there are other factors which make a representational vote at least a 50/50 proposition.

2. Seniority is something that will always lead to conflict. Trying to merge so many groups with so many seniority rules is just an impossible task to manage in a way everyone is content with the outcome.

3. That was an Association decision and I know there were some within the Negotiating Committee's that also supported the move. It does have some benefits but I believe that togetherness can be broken up within Section 6.

In other words you hope the NMB can break any spirit of Unity that exists between the groups.

Splinter it, hammer it, break it.

Martinez got over 500 locals with less than 100 members. My locals had over 15,000. I got many of the biggest locals and the per capita was over 50% which suggest my ticket will win when we have the election in april 2019.
That said, i aimed for the #1 job and not smallest Local position like you. You got destroyed.

You finished last and just got brutalized. Afterwards you completely switched your position, due to your bitterness, and turned on your own people and cut the deal with lehive.

Don't agree. I think there will be improvements in certain areas.

Today, the airline released a flyer comparing current industry positions in Holiday, Vacation, SK, et al, with their proposal and a couple of those areas are equal or less than the industry.

They may allow debate amongst ourselves to rage a little while hoping to see movement from the Association and if they don't, I suspect an enhanced proposal will be shared with Association which may become a last offer and see you in Section 6 if it isn't sent to a vote.

^^^This^^^

I think you often post "most likely" scenerios, even if it isnt what i or someone else wants to see.

That's refreshing because others like weez have been intellectually dishonest and claimed that we will fight and get laa on our current lus healthcare.

I'm not sure what he means when he says "fight". Is he goin in the octagon with Parker?
All we can do is hold or work things out. We arent in position to strike or anything.
