Lol. He dumb, man.
He just doesnt understand that it doesn't make any sense for me to go after locals with 15 members. When we got the big boeing local and the big Missouri local and some other super locals we knew we were outfront. Postponing the election allows us to continue to build and I think we will b in great shape for the election.

Poor baby can’t accept he was smacked down hard.

No soup, no election.

OK. Consider this. It seems likely for the IAM to have a larger turnout, percentage-wise because they have more to lose. Let's not forget that we only had a 62% participation rate for the bankruptcy contract (3,429 Yes votes...3,165 No votes....and 3,931 didn't case a vote). Their current medical and their pension are of the multi-employer variation which means they need the CBA and much as they need their union in order to keep those important items.

Couple that with a certain percentage of TWU Members that would go for the assured campaign by the IAM to sell their cheaper medical, more holidays, more sick days, etc. We can debate the merits of those items being worth the move but you would also have to agree that a certain number of our Members would go for that.

It may be our numbers would have won out, but I don't think it would have been a runaway and I think they'd have a chance to win a vote. At the very least, it would have been a long and acrimonious campaign.

i guarantee you the laa c/c would have voted in record numbers once the twu would have told them what iam considers a 'lead'. in ord, there are more laa c/c than total lus fscs.

i'm sorry, i still dont buy it. in intl. relations, diplomacy is used when disputes can't be settled by one nation having overwhelming force over the other. if i was twu at that time, no need for diplomacy...let's vote.

in this case scenario, for reasons to be debated or whispered, the twu decided to lay down and form a coalition...when it didn't need to. i'm sure the iam was ecstatic.

i didn't see anything industry leading, save for OJI time and maybe banking 1,600 hrs in your sick bank (which aa didn't brag about anyways).

total contempt.

Ok that was a total waste of my time even opening Jetnet for. It’s as if they ran out of steam to be able to even try to excite us.

That flyer was terrible AA. Laughably bad.

the former editor of pravda advised them not to publish their 'industry leading' wage proposal either.

smart move. they almost had me on the injury time bonanza...where i can proudly brag to my dl & ua counterparts.

Yea they keep avoiding that so far I see.

3% above DL for Fleet = .22 cent raise from where we are currently. LMFAO.

Where can I get me some of that??????

Well if you say so there “short timer”
What I think your trying to say is, and I agree, that any negotiating now, is a exercise of courtesy, and not as a function of necessity, DP wrote a number on a napkin at his favorite watering hole and passed it to the powers to be and said “handle this for me will ya” voting no at the first look will only hurt us. Just saying.

Sorry Bob and I know you want it but we won’t be voting on that at all as it currently stands.

More time to build coalition can't hurt?
We continue to do that.
As far as nominations, we still will just focus on about 50. So martinez will still get 700 while another 200 wont nominate anyone. The election is where we will campaign and do mailouts and rallies.

You folks who keep bringing up who got beat worse. I personally don't believe in "Participation" trophy's.
It's a loss if you didn't win. Doesn't matter if it's by a field goal or a touchdown, you lost.
No parade for second through last!
