Couldn't care less. YES it's worth the rejection. How the fuk can you guarrantee the mediator said, "put it out or you sit"? If it passes? C'mon man, that's exactly what the co. wants. You really do need to get better informed and a hell of a lot more info on what is really going on in nego's. Please, for God's sake, get a hold of you ALR and drill him with all your questions...
I saw him the other day, I have very little respect for him, and not much for you. All you can do is attack. I have a difference of opinion. If you don't like the offer than reject it simple enough. I have waited over 5 years for a raise as well as other mechanics that are tired of the crap. AMFA through over 63 updates has preached scope, well they got that. They also got the back pay they negotiated for telling us the company agreed to it. The only thing I see lacking is the full snap up we didn't get. That's not a deal breaker to me, if it is to you, then vote no, and STFU!

Curious as to why a banker is wanting to know why small stations be closed in fav of hubs etc. I believe in today day in age w billions being made, w D.P. stating "this airline will never again lose money, with him also stating and acknowledging that PS is not as close to other air carriers as it should be....as the Association is fighting then why should any station large or small be shuttered . why not DP get off ur lazy bones and give the best deal. Why not improve employee mgmt relations . dp says 1 thing . but actions are totally opposite

Robbed I’m asking what WeAA would think of that. You realize DL mainline handles all DCI flying at staffed cities aside from a few hubs like MSP?

Everything out of ATL whether it’s a 777 or CRJ-200 is mainline handled. Plus DL handles partners AF, KL, KE, VS, etc.

Would your team like to handle AS or the BA 787 to LHR from BWI?

That is a good question robbed --- "why not'? well, as we know... Corporations (Including airlines) consider their workforce as a liability.
Nothing personal, it's just how capitalism works. Everything in this world is about the money, and as far as the company is concerned, the LESS money we make,
the more money they TAKE...

This is nothing new... it's been going on since the dawn of the Industrial Revolution. That is what brought about Organized Labor to begin with...

In other words robbed, if capitalism is allowed to "self regulate" without oversight like labor laws, human rights, and unions, we would be living on airport property in a barracks, being paid with vouchers only redeemable at the company store!. BANKERS, and investors would love that wouldn't they!

It’s been heartening to see Labor wake up of late. We’ve seen it with teachers in places like WV and OK, and the private sector as well. Not only are they the rejecting poor deals, they are answering with a resounding “F no,” and backing it with direct action.

The airline sector should be no different. The dark days of SARS, 9/11, and BK are in our rear view mirror. Things like “we’ll get ‘em next time,” and “let’s live to fight another day” no longer apply.

The context was to come up with solutions on how to keep cities that economically due to low revenue generation could come up on the chopping block. The solution to how to secure new locations for people to work and still make a very decent living.

And if I’m EVER put into the position and a position I would prefer not to be in, I’ll vote you that paycut with the “choice” to move over voting you a closure with NO “choice” whatsoever in a heartbeat every day of the week. Every single solitary day of the week 100%.
Scary thinking saw this view of foresight with the Passenger Service Agents. Whipsawing one group against the other. Classic JG and gang strategy.

LUS airport agents had to take big concessions just to raise the bar for the rest of the Passenger Service Agents group. If you choose to go "Down the rabbit hole" whipsawing will most likely happen

Advocate for TWU Express American Eagle and contract employees taking over small medium station and putting the work out for contract biding

If Eagle works gets added your CWA will lose dues since they represent Piedmont.

And the no raid clause from the AFL-CIO comes into play.

Some poster(s) not to mention a name would love this if it meant HE(they) would get a raise

Some poster(s) not to mention who would love to contract out stations if it meant HE(they) would get a raise. All negotiators know this

I finally agree with you 700 but I'll go a bit farther and say that the labor organizations now = management and are participating in greedy capitalism.
They con us. Giving diane b and other retiring officers a $60,000 new car retirement gift should be all illegal.
Nepotism has also infiltrated and overspending by $15 million is a joke. More lost membership to boot.

Dude... it's difficult to "spit", when your mouth is not connected to your brain!

Piedmont is not 700. Even you should be able to figure out the writing style is completely different.

He’s just a guy who obviously can’t stand you.

It could work the other way, sure, but it seems the Maintenance group will have more complicated issues than Fleet.

well...then it can be argued that:

1) the twu didn't play their numerical advantage and make us vote for one union to represent.

2) the twu looked the other way in regards to iam keeping forms of seniority that twu members could not keep...knowing that there would be a conflict (no conflict for iam personnel) when seniority lists would get integrated.

3) the twu decided to adopt the iam strategy of tieing fleet and AMTs together.

if i'm an iam big-shooter with lus, i think these twu guys are nice f29king guys.
