Well I dont know but Delta and Jetblue have better scope right now and where they have RR ee have a contract company

Al simple question, yes or no. I say no.

Do you think if Baggage Handlers didn’t belong to any Unions at all we would have better terms of employment right now?

And how many mainline staffed stations have closed in the past decade?

AA, UA, US and even WN have all done so even with their “ironclad” scope.

Josh

Never ONCE in clear violation of any active scope agreements Sir. Only through the language allowing them to be, voluntary concessions or Bankruptcy Judges gavels where all creditors took baths as well.

Al in 1992 US “Management” decided to freeze your Defined Benefit Pension. What voice did you get in that decision? What other groups besides yours had their Pensions frozen?

So if there is a way around contracts what good are they?

I cant say I told you I personally did better without

You know Al maybe we would do better without them? I cost the Company $98,000 in pay and benefits last year.

I’m sure they love paying that in my name.

So just say it Al. You wish you had no Union and no contract and would be much happier with the Company having all the control.

Why can’t you just say that?

AA was the only one attain through the bankruptcy process.

UA outside of BK when the company was posting modest profit amidst a rising tide in the industry

US: 2008 agreement abandoned small stations; in 2011 US contracted out BUF before the CBA became amendable 11/2011

And Weez the AMR creditors made out quite well. They even returned equity to shareholders which is virtually unheard of (as they’re almost always wiped out) but they got residual claims.
