Why is no one asking the real Question. Why did the TWU/IAM sign off on working on each other airplanes without making both sides equal on everything. That was the best time to get it. Yet all they saw was the Money. Because that is all they truly care about. More pay = more Union Dues. Gary P was part of all of that. He need to own that mistake and step down. His little pissy Video accomplishes NOTHING. How can you expect anyone to follow WEAK leaders. The US air guys are laughing at the TWU guys. They have everything and They dont give a **** about how long it takes. Wake up people. Its time to see your Leaders for what they are.

I’m losing shift differential daily. I’m losing money every holiday I work. Not sure about their VC accrual and don’t know about their OT rates. And, I’m still paying LAA Healtcare costs. I’m not gonna add up the total $$$ I’m losing compared to the LUS employees, but I think it’s safe to say that at the moment, yes, we are getting hosed. We HOPE when it’s all said and done, it was worth the fight.

Tim I know you are against it but what is needed to get both sides back to the table with meaningful negotiations.And what is needed to rap this up

You guys have a couple of things better

And sadly the fact is Al and the Company knows this we have people in our own group that want this to be over just so they can see the Unions lose.

And the Association would lose if they sent that crap out because it would be an overwhelming NO vote from every group.

So I’d love to read who has the brilliant solution if neither side budges? As it stands now I’d vote no.

Why would any of us want the union to lose?Honestly if the jobs werent on the line why would any TWU vote no?I mean the holiday pay alone is another $2500

#1 the job loss. I’m tired of voting away jobs and stations like death by a 1000 cuts. Hell how many guys on your side make fun of us for how many cities we have left? And yes the cuts to Maintenance are even more ridiculous. And I know a ton of TWU guys who feel the same way. We just had enough.

#2 The Wages with the PS is a LIE from the Company. I HATE liars. And you know I’ve put up that math enough times for us to know they’re lying. 3% above DL right now is .22 cents. That’s pathetic!!!!!

#3 You also know what I’ve said about your medical. I don’t need to repeat it any more.

I just don’t like the offer. I REALLY don’t. No joking.

And some want the Unions to lose because people have a F’d up Sports team mentality. They didn’t vote for the Ass so it has to fail so they can say they told everyone so. They need it to fail for their own personal vindication.

Not to mention all the other people with their own personal agendas too.

Hey Al take this guy here. I really believe the biggest reason now he wants to see you lose your Medical and don’t kid yourself that he doesn’t want that despite what he might say is to actually be able to gloat that I was wrong.

I 100% believe that.

If I’m wrong I’m wrong Al. So the F what. I don’t care if I’m wrong. I just don’t really see the reason that you have to lose it and if you did absolutely not for nothing. Why? Really?

But this guy has to be right. That’s his thing and it’s murder to him if he’s wrong.

Lus medical is one reason. Because if they fight for LUS medical it’s another $6500 a year. 5 year deal ( example) that’s $32,500.
 

For those who really would use it and need it yes. It’s probably a small percentage that would actually be on the hook for that $6500. But those are the people we should be focusing on making sure are ok. Not those who really don’t have as much of a worry about that Medical cost.

I once said I was going to vote no because the Company was going to throw out in the cold 80 Medically restricted members. We never got to vote on that deal anyway but I was sticking by my principles.

Weezer, airline labor has always, and will continue to be on the wrong side of getting whats fair, how do you combat this, you don't. This is how it is written and this is how it shall be done. Go ahead shoot down every TA they send us, what will it get us, a free trip to mediation, and suddenly that crap TA didn't seem so bad.
