the Money should of come out of due members money not our equity. I understand I'm not stupid like you think I am that money was our not the one taking the retirements. The twu language should of stipulate that retires were not elegiable. but again always happening to the twu crowd. So we always getting screwed by the Twu. Now the twu needs to make us whole if it comes out of there wallet. I'm sick of the twu. Always not have in the right language . Evidently the other groups had proper language because no one in there groups sued. I want my 14 percent equity how ever the twu has to do it. If they had the right language this would of been avoided.. I did not say the early outs should get any thing . Far from the truth they decided to leave. But if twu had the proper language then this not would of happened.ASSociation Clown said:You do realize that the APA and APFA did there distribution differently and gave the equity to those retiring. So based on your theory of those groups got all of theres, we would of gotten all of ours, along with the early outs. What you got is what you would have gotten. Do you seriously not understand that those who took the money and left are suing each of us for our stock, and the judge ordered the stock not to be given to us. Just read the case if you don't want to believe the union, thats what I did.
They did not get to vote at merger time.bigjets said:Didn't the NWA scabs just move over to delta after the merger? I believe delta mechs actually got the opportunity to vote on union representation, where they voted against AMFA, so those NWA scabs are now delta mechs making a lot more money then us union represented mechs who never got the opportunity to vote on our union representation.
I think AMFA really dropped the ball by not getting more involved with the card drive. At least he IBT was aggressive with the card drive before they stabbed us in the back.
The IAM probably would have won an election at the new American, what a bunch of cowards.
He was talking about the President of the United States not local 514. But let me say that I know Gary Yingst well and there is nobody that knows the contracts better than he does. I would also like to point out that he covered my A$$ when I was in a jam about 20 years ago. I owe a lot to Gary Yingst. That being said I voted for Dale Danker. I voted for Danker because he is a good man and I want him to finish what he started. I know it's hard to believe but I supported AMFA and Yingst knew that but he never held that against me. We had many discussions on it and agreed to disagree. If you knew him you would think differently I think.767 mechanic said:

I'm not making excuses for him and I am certainly not trying to say he needed to be elected president. He is not perfect and neither am I but I do have a lot of respect for him and when I needed his help he was there and represented me. If you don't like him that is fine but there is no need to smear him on this forum. This whole thing has been divisive and we need to get over it. Danker won in a landslide because we want him to finish what he started. Let's move on and support Danker and the new board.767 mechanic said:
Thanks for clarifying that for me. As far as gary yingst goes. If you take a trip representing the local and take your wife along, extend your trip for a longer period of time and then submit an expense report for all the expenses including his wifes that makes him a thief and that is why Dale Danker removed him from office. The part of this that is even more pathic is that there were people that were chewing Danker out for removing him when he was doing him a favor instead of having the authorities prosecute him for theft. He was stealing from the membership and the idiots that were defending him can't get that through there thick heads. Lets not forget the trip to Hawaii when him and his wife got in a verbal confrontation with the flight crew in first class and had there flight privileges revoked. An international rep had to fly to Hawaii to sweep this under the rug. Anytime there is an in flight incident with a flight crew there is a TSA report. Why is there no report from the TSA????? If this were you or I or almost any other employee we would be not only fired but we would also be in jail. How much did this cost you me or the membership inorder for him to keep his job???????????? And you call him a good person GOD HELP US.
Yeah we are also supposed to be patient because it takes a long time to negotiate a contract :angry2:dvlhog212 said:Anyone else get the latest propaganda from the twu? It says, in part, "we will fight for industry standard wages". Way to fight twu. Disgusting.
