Not really there WT. Neither 700 or the Bull are with the company any longer. Furthermore, they are not current union leaders either.
While both of them are knowledgeable folks, they are both living in and refering to the past. The Bull is looking out for the AFA leadership, and the dues income they stand to lose should this merger take place.
I am always looking out for ALL of US Airways employees..always have; always will!
I have a definite dog in this contention; U pulling AA into a consolidation, hostile, no less, to steal from their company, and their labor groups by promising them nothing but disingenuous crap; ignoring the US Airways labor groups as if they don't matter, didn't contribute all these years to make THEIR company profitable. US Airways employees still remain invisible to the U managment in place.. and this quite frankly sickens me to no end in sight.
I am waiting for YOUR management team to do the right thing for ONCE in THEIR careers, good will and ethical practice for Pete's sake, negotiate with THEIR own unions, give them their contract that they have been seeking for years; Reward them, and US Airways will prosper tenfold... and unite the labor force.
Allow AA to have their exclusivity to restructure their company, negotiate with THEIR employees, just as US Airways did twice with no interference from anyone.
And those who are in the know, or who have been in the know, 700UW was at the table in negotiations for weeks and weeks, in BK II, with his group while both our groups battled daily in different rooms at Corporate, with the GD U management. He fought damn hard as hell.
He deserves that respect.
Only those imposter posters on here, that are management, wouldn't know what the hell "respect" for the fight is all about, now would ya?
