IBT vs IAM

lets see here how much additional work outsourced since a Teamster Contract in place -- 0%

Lets see here IAM lost half of the 737's all the wide body's and how many hundred members out of work - oh wait gotta stick to the facts - so how many thousands of your brothers and sisters have you failed. You really should lay off the company protien shakes.
say what you wish, but the membership agreed to,by voting per article 17/p...to outsorce work that you never had under your IBT scope........

International Buffoon’s Tergiversate

Don't quit your "bag room" job. :)

Why do you spread misinformation?

"A picture is worth a thousand words" :)

Does anyone know if the IAM has filed their response to the NMB yet? Are they planning on filing a response?? What if there is no response filed??? Will the NMB wait????

First you take your AMT's and put them in the IBT Then your FSA's in the TWU, remove any excess IAM and you STILL don't change the fundamental recipe, so in the end you get more of the SOS!

Ahhh....yes Bob...but some of the SOS is worse than others. We need to clean one "stall" at a time. Hopefully we will end up with a clean "barn", eventually. :)

I'm sure they will respond eventually....then they will blame the IBT for the delay. :)

Gee do I have to tell you again?

This is a problem 7. You "tell" everyone when you should be listening. Try listening to the other IAM members....they have important information for you. Albert seems to have some good information for everyone. :)

Well, that's crap........respond eventually!! Let's get this ball rolling and get the vote done so we can all move......forward or out. :D

You know I thought you were an intelligent person who actually could comprehend things.

There were some Airbii returned to the lessor during the first chapter 11 case, the lessor was Finova and no deal could be reached on new lease terms. The leases were abrogated and the planes were ferried to GYR for Storage.

Picture.

Another Picture

your favorite union is the one holding up things...IAM is going to respond to an objection filed by IBT....check the facts ma'am....

US Airways Stock Clerk Update

From Don Treichler, Teamsters Airline Division Director, to US Airways Stock Clerks:

March 10, 2006

Position statements were due on February 28, 2006 by the National Mediation Board from both the Teamsters and the IAM about the mechanic and related craft and class at US Airways. The IBT filed a brief that is consistent with IBT represented groups at America West Airlines and NMB policy. It is well-established in NMB decisions dating back thirty years that mechanics and stock clerks are two distinct crafts and classes. That means the employees in the two groups are entitled to separate representation elections.

You will not be left behind. The IBT has enough authorization cards to run elections for both the mechanic and related and the stock clerk classifications. Even if a representation election is not authorized, that would simply mean that the NMB would issue a certification for stock clerks in favor of the IAM. In short, the stock clerks will not be left without a union.

The IAM has yet to file the brief they owe the NMB. Instead of fulfilling their obligation to the NMB, the IAM is engaging in scare tactics towards the stock clerks.

Don't buy the IAM's propaganda. The stock clerks will be a part of the representation process either in their own election or as part of the mechanic election.

Please contact me at [email protected] or Bernadette McCulloch at [email protected] or (202) 437-1705 if you have any questions.

Just so it's not taken out of context. The question is still valid. When will the brief be filed?

Who cares what the ibt says, the IAM will file their brief within the timelines.

The ibt should worry about themselves and not the IAM's brief until they file it.

Haven't seen anything from the NMB saying the IAM is in violation of time limits.

See Don does not work in Maryland at IAM HDQ so he does not know what is going on, now does he?

The person who thinks he knows it all speaks again, and he has no idea of what he speaks about again.

Amazing how you have to reply in every topic on every thread.

Compare apples to apples, not oranges.

And to awa,

They do lie, that is why the government took over control, that is why several of your past presidents are criminal and that is why the government oversees all national elections of the ibt.

And much of the info on 104 has been proven false.

Keep trying.
Well Mr-7 Per your post.

Once again, you fail to post any information that is new, you said on 2/28 an announcement was to be made.
No announcement, just more bs and hype from you.

Ok Mr-7 read post 180/181 and 184.
What I Said Was Backed UP!

WHAT INFORMATION On 104 Has Been Proven False. OR Is This More BS AND HYPE FROM YOU AND THE IAM??

All You Have To Do Is Post The Miss Info That Has Been Proven False And A link To What You Say Is The Truth.

(No Half Truths or twisting words PLZ.)

Have A Nice IBT DAY

Myself and Dell have all ready posted numerous things that were wrong.

Go look at the Q&A.

Who cares what the ibt says, the IAM will file their brief within the timelines.

The ibt should worry about themselves and not the IAM's brief until they file it.

Haven't seen anything from the NMB saying the IAM is in violation of time limits.

Who cares what the IBT says? Same question could be asked regarding the IAM? This is between those two unions. I would think that members and potential members should care what each union has to say. It's going to be one or the other. And since BOTH unions are involved, that's why they BOTH worry about the other. All you have to do is to read the IBT letters AND the IAM letters. And then you will see that one does worry about the other.

I don't know what the timelines are. Just asking a question. As the IAM has stated before, the IBT is dragging this representation issue out. Now the IBT is inferring that the IAM is dragging it out.

I don't know where Don works. But as the letter states, he obviously knows that something is going on. Again, the reason for the question.
